| In The Name of God Gather up your arms, for today we fight In the name of God, our creater of all Don your battle gear, kiss loved ones goodbye In the name of God, we'll watch them fall They've taken our land, from ocean to hill another God they dare to call their own how can they be so shameless and wrong To OUR God, they will soon bow down Gather up your weapons of mass destruction for in the name of God, we'll take their land and all the treasures that it holds we'll change their ways, those left to stand We'll tear down their walls and buildings too the landscape will be witness to our bombs and should the innocent get in the way it's the price they'll pay for all their wrongs But wait, a voice in the distance afar crying out to be heard above the battle fire How can you call this a holy war is this really God's....or man's desire? God gave us the land, from sea to sea The mountains and plains of massive wealth The deserts and lakes, lands so diverse taking eons to form, for all it's worth Now you want to see it all blown away destroy every inch of precious land do you dare to obliterate what God has made who are you, that you know what's in God's hands? In the name of God, can't there just be peace? can we not learn from each other's ways? and share the bounty God has bestowed In the name of God, pray for better days! ~PennyLynne~ |
