| He Rides Into The Night He rides forever, through the night for an enchantment has bound his heart he allowed his love to slip through his hands and now they are, eternally apart His foolishness has chained his mind so, into forever he must now ride to break the spell of his thoughtless deed with only loneliness at his side The icey cold of the ruling dark bites sharply, right through his frame its bitterness is too hard to bear as he calls upon her name He knows not if she'll answer him he knows not, to expect her soft reply for he had shattered all hopes and dreams feeding emptiness, into the bitter night The moon gives him no solace for he abandoned its magic long ago now it only looks down, fleetingly to make his journey, that much more alone He rides forever, through the night wishing for his misery to be relieved but he only need to call upon the power, of the dreams he once believed ~PennyLynne~ |
