These
are some of the best web sites I’ve found about the Beatles and music. I think
that you’ll like them if you liked my site:
·
The
Spanish Beatles Page - Very complete site with good information
about each album and every single song edited by the Beatles. Available both in
English and Spanish.
·
Songs, Pictures
and Stories of The Beatles - A whole site about Beatles rarities. One of
the very first web sites I’ve ever visited.
·
The
Beatles - A Chronicle In Vinyl (1962-1970) - The most complete site about the
Beatles UK and US discography I’ve found. LPs, singles, EPs... All the info,
including the record covers and the chart positions.
·
The Beatles Ultimate
Experience - Here you’ll find comments by the Beatles about
almost every song they recorded.
·
The Beatles
Anthology -
Quote after quote after quote by John, Paul, George, Ringo, George Martin... Their
comments about each Beatles period from 1960 to 1970.
·
The
Beatles in Australia - This would have nothing to do with me apart
from sharing the southern hemisphere, but I’m adding this link
because it probably has the most reliable information about the Beatles
recordings on the net, according to what I know and can listen to on the
records. Essential for those who are obsessed (like me) with the details of
‘who did what’ in each song.
·
The Usenet Guide to Beatles
Recording Variations - If you’re crazier than me, go to this site.
·
Wilson & Alroy’s
Record Reviews - In my opinion (and not only in mine) the
best web site of the record review community out there. Countless reviews about albums (Rock,
Pop, Funk, Latin, Jazz) from the 50’s through the 90’s. But I think that 60’s
fans like me will enjoy it more, since that’s the decade they seem to praise
and review more. And I must admit that probably I took a couple of expressions
from them (I guess I’ve been reading them so much that they even influenced my
English!).
