The Platoon completed training events in the past that are outlined on this page. The first was a live demo/land mine range. The soldiers honed their skills with conventional as well as improvised demolitions as well as arming and disarming live mines. Each squad had to emplace and remove a live mine field. The soldiers as usual performed beyond anybody's expectations.
As part of the range each squad executed a live breach of a complex obstacle (minefield and wire) and clearing a bunker/trench line. There is nothing like breaching with live explosives while rounds are snapping over your head! Sappers in the wire!! As usual the squads were awesome.
