The Land of Kyrgyzstan
The Wonderful Me
Borrowing from Dickens' "David Copperfield", I was born, I learned, and finally I travelled.

So I was born and raised in Decatur, Illinois where my parents still reside.  Decatur isn't a bad place just somewhere that I will never end up.

     I attended college at
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Again, Terre Haute wasn't a bad place just somewhere that I experienced and had enough of.  Now that I look back on it, Rose was a very valuable experience that taught me much.  It happens to be the #1 undergraduate engineering school in the U.S. if anyone was wondering.  I recieved my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2002.  I was also part of a great group of guys in the  Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity.

I recently obtained my M.S. degree in
Bioengineering from Clemson University. Clemson wasn't the ideal location and I wouldn't recomend it to anyone who is used to a larger social scene.

Through it all I've learned, matured, and kept my eyes wide open.  As you probably saw on my home page, I've joined the
Peace Corps community.

I've een living in Kyrgyzstan for the last year.  I've learned the local language (Kyrgyz), which is similiar to Turkish.  I've also started to study Russian.  So far the experience has been amazing.  I've learned more than I thought was possible.  This is truely a life changing experience.
