| Modifying Clip Art |
| 1. Open a WebPainter3 document with 300 height and 300 width. Minimize WebPainter3 and open the interent site www.free-clip-art.net/index4.shtml 2. Choose a clip art graphic, copy it and paste it into your WebPainter3 document. 3. Duplicate the cel. In Cel 2 use the lasso tool to select part of the graphic to change. 4. Go to the Selection menu and click on Rotate and select Free Rotate. The part of your graphic that you selected should now have a small circle next to it. Position the mouse pointer in the small circle and drag it in the direction you want to rotate. 5. Adjust the rotated part of the graphic so it looks right. 6. Use the Paintbrush or Pen tool to fill in any areas on your graphic that need to be. If you need to duplicate a color in your graphic, use the eyedropper and click on the color you wish to duplicate. That color should be on the Foreground tool and you can fill it in with the Paintbrush or Pen tool. 7. Save your document as Modify (in case the program shuts down). 8. Continue modifying your graphic until it has a fairly smooth action. Remember to save your work periodically so you don't lose it if the program shuts down. |
