These are the updates that I have so far:
I have finally got some tires for the Baja but not exactly what I really wanted. I hope to have some better tires later. I am looking for a set of 28 to 30 inch tires to put all the way around.
I got the rear bumper on after a fight with it. I have not done any of this before so it was a new thing for me. I had installed the motor before I installed the transaxle mounts for the bumper so I had to do some work with the jack to get everything in. Then I noticed that there is a place on the drivers side inside fender/body area that had a ridge and needed to be persuaded a little before the cage would fit. On the passenger side, I had to cut off a bolt that was on mounted to the body in order to get the cage on that side. After about 3 hours I finally got the bumper on. In order to get the bumper on and have room to work with I had to remove the rear fenders, no problem but while I have them off I will consider reworking them a little. They need a little dressing up to fit just right. Got one done and also have a light installed. I am going with lights from the 68-70 year models. they are a little smaller than the newer ones and also I can install an amber blinker with them. I have also replaces the front wheel bearings and seals. I have yet to do the back but will as time and money allow. Hopefully next weekend we will go to OKC and get the front Bumper, double tube, if I can and also a set of brakes, bearing, and seals. I should have the title for it by the end of April.
