Being a Member
The clothes of a member are as follows: You must at all times wear one blue item of clothing,
except when going to meetings, then you *must* wear:

-If you are in the Snappers union or are not in the Ryu Shimingun: FULL blue *clothing* of
any kind You may not wear armor

If you are in the Ryu Shimingun: Full Armor, (As much as you can put on) either leather, metal, or
Wizarding clothes and a blue cape.

How to go about PKing (Player killing as in, the wilderness):
We are an Anti-RPKing clan. (I.e. We do NOT randomly kill people in the wilderness). However, you
may conduct a duel. Whether a members "Duel" or a duel in the wilderness, its fine, if you get the
consent of your opponent. When your opponent gives the "O.K." go at it as hard as you want, keep
in mind however, to ALWAYS obey the Story & Law in a duel.

Regarding a retreating enemy:
If your opponent fought according to our Story & Law, weather they knows
it or not, you MUST grand him quarter (mercy) and NOT pursue him. If he does not, slay him.

Regarding being attacked:
If you are attacked, you may flee (run away) without loss of honour, *If* it is three to one, if
you feel you can defeat them, you may slay them either on the spot or when they retreat. This is
the ONLY situation where you may hit an enemy from behind.

Regarding the Snappers Union & Ryu Shimingun:

The Snappers Union (SU):
A snapper in medieval times was a person especially trained in crafting arts, they made siege
engines, dug tunnels, created trenches, made explosives, made and repaired weapons. Without them
an army would be at a true loss.

In our clan its a part devoted to peaceful projects such as, mining, fishing or fletching. They
go on separate events, and almost run as a separate clan. These events either gather food for
Dragon militia events, or help raise money to buy new equipment.

Ryu Shimingun (RS):
This part of the clan devoted to administering justice to the evil men and women.
They carry the sword opposed to the pick, and are exceptionally good at what they do. They may
not retreat until its three to one, and fight with honour to gain glory for both the clan, and
themselves. They go on separate events, and almost run as a separate clan.

Q) Can I be in both the SU & the RS?
A) No, you may pick on or the other.

Q) Do I haft to join one or the other?
A) No

Q) Can I change from the RS to the SU or vise versa?
A) Yes but you will haft to PM (Privet message) a Daimyo on the forums before hand.

How to perform an accolade (Samurai service)

The accolade is the most important service of the Ryu SaikokenI, as such it
*must* be taken *very* seriously

All accolades will be held in the small town of Rimmington, a fair walk south of Falador.

PART ONE
-The accolade will begin by the will-be Samurai standing in front of a Daimyo (the one he is about
To be knighted by) & the rest of the members stand in a large crowd, on either side of the Daimyo &
Will-be Samurai.
-Then the will-be Samurai gives the Daimyo his favorite sword.

PART TWO
-Then the Daimyo says: "Do you accept the Story & Law?"
-The will-be Samurai says: "Yes"
-Then the Daimyo says: "Will you stop evil at all times, even at risk of death?"
-The will-be Samurai says: "Yes"
-Then the Daimyo says: "Do you accept the responibilty & honour of becoming a Samurai?
-The will-be Samurai says: "Yes"
-The Daimyo then asks the other members of the clan: "Do you accept him"
-The members, in unison say: "We do"

PART THREE
-At that point, the will-be Samurai bows before the Daimyo.
-The Daimyo then says: By the Great Dragon, you are made a Samurai!
-All members then clap (Actually using the emotion clap) and welcome the new Samurai.
-The Daimyo then gives back the Sword & gives you a Gold ring.
-The will-be Samurai, then becomes a Samurai!

(By saying no in any of the questions, you stop the accolade immediately)
