Hitchhikers

A hitchhiker is an increasingly common breed of letterboxes that have no home of their own, but live from box to box following the winds that carry them. They're stashed in a box, and the next letterboxer who comes by is expected to pick it up to drop it off later (sometimes hours later, other times months later) at another letterbox to surprise another unsuspecting letterboxer. These boxes truly are the leeches of the letterboxing world, making a comfortable home in other people's letterboxes.

Below are a list of hitchhikers I've hidden. Since they don't stay put in any one place, they're sorted in the order I placed them. If you have any information about any of these letterboxes, please e-mail me at [email protected]. I like to track--the best I can--their travels around the country and perhaps the world!
