SSB Fireworks Fight

Fireworks Fight was good this year. However, all the champions retained their titles. But there was a new championship belt.

(Creed's "Young Grow Old" is playing! Fireworks blast all over the arena of Brinstar! The crowd is on their feet!)
Ryan: WELCOME EVERYBODY TO FIREWORKS FIGHT! And Happy Independence Day! I am Ryan.
Jeff: 4th of July, not Independence Day. I'm eff--er JEEF--gaa! JEFF Manning! Sorry bout dat.
Ryan: Well we are live at Brinstar for one unforgettable day! First of all, the items we will see here will be all explosive. The Main Event today will be Ganondorf defending the SSB Melee Championship against the leader of the NWO, Fox McCloud!
Jeff: Yep, The "Weapon Boy" could be the next SSB Champion!
Ryan: That's right. Well long time announcer Michael Buffer has left SSB Melee and is announcing for another wrestling division. Our new announcer is SSB Melee Narrator Voice actor Dean Harrington! Well we are supposed to hear an announcement from Mario soon.
Jeff: What will it be?
(Benefit's "Warp to World 69" is playing. The crowd is booing. Mario enters.)
Dean Harrington: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the SSB Melee Chairman, Mario!
Ryan: Well we're about to find out. Cause here he comes. I assume it is about Ganondorf and that SSB Melee belt of his.
Jeff: Why didn't they have me be the narrator for Melee? I was for the N64 version!
Mario: After seeing what happened last week on Summer Slamfest, I was humilaiated by those 2 guys, Luigi and Mr. Game & Watch! Mr. Game & Watch, I really hate you! My announcement is about you!
Jeff: What's the announcement?
Mario: You see, there is going to be a new Championship belt. The SSB Melee Light-Heavyweight Championship Belt. And I'm going to take my best 4 cruiserweights in one big Battle Royal to see who will win the belt! Mr. Game & Watch, you're the first man I chose to be in the match. And you're gonna hate who your opponents will be in that match. I'm gonna make sure you lose! Because second in the match is Pikachu! He is probably the greatest cruiserweight of all time in SSB History! I don't care if he is a heel or not! Third is Ice Climber Popo! He's been on my nerves too, and I'm gonna teach him a lesson too! I'll make sure he loses! And last, but not least, the Rattlesnake, Kirby! Oh yeah, he deserves to be the Light-Heavyweight Champion, cause he nearly became Intercontinental Champion about a month ago! And we're gonna see a Stunner in that match!
Ryan: A 4 Way Match between Game & Watch, Pikachu, Popo, and Kirby? This'll be good!
Mario: So who will win? I'll tell you now: G&W and Popo will not! Either Pikachu or Kirby will! Both have been here longer than any other cruiserweight and they are successful!
Jeff: They both suck.
Mario: Now I'm moving on to Mr. Game & Watch's friend, Luigi! Luigi...you're defending the European title today. You stole it from me so you're gonna face...NWO member Falco Lombardi! Now if you don't excuse me, I'm gettin out of this crappy place! (leaves)
Ryan: 2 matches will be added to today! Luigi vs Falco and that 4 Way Match!
Jeff: There will be lots of interesting stuff in that match! Can't wait!
Ryan: Well The Women's Championship is coming up next! Peach is defending her title against Ice Climber Nana! It's coming up next!
(Commercial Break)

SSB MELEE WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP-          vs
Jeff: So what's coming later today? A 4 Way Match for the new Light-Heavyweight title?
Ryan: Yes. And Luigi is defending the European title against Falco as well. But coming now is the Womens Championship!
(Peach's theme is playing as the crowd is booing. Peach enters.)
Dean: The following contest is sceduled for 1 stock and is for the SSB Melee Women's Championship. Making her way to the ring from the Mushroom Kingdom, she is the SSB Melee Women's Champion, Princess Peach Toadstool!
Jeff: God, Peach is a slut.
Ryan: What?
Jeff: Well she's too cocky, has a big ego, and cheats to win!
Ryan: Oh, lots of women are like that.
Jeff: Well not in SSB: Just Peach.
(Ice-Like music is playing. The crowd is cheering. The Ice Climbers enter and hold up their hammers.)
Dean: And her opponent, being accompanied by Ice Climber Popo, Ice Climber Nana!
Jeff: This is Nana's first match here. Don't forget, you got that hammer!
(The Bell Rings!)
Ryan: Nana's using her hammer! Peach is feeling it!
Jeff: But Peach got that umbrella. Cool fray so far.
Ryan: Yeah. Peach's slappin, Nana's hammerin away.
Jeff: Someone's gonna get knocked out: Peach!
Ryan: Looks like Popo's helping Nana! I saw him hit Peach once with his hammer! He's supposed to be accompanying Nana!
Jeff: The ref didn't see that. Peach is now cheating! She's in control!
Ryan: Peach threw Nana. Now she's standing in place! But she got Nana again! Strong slap by Peach!
Jeff: Peach has alot of dirty tricks to win.
Ryan: Nana's taking shots from the acid! Peach with a near miss with that frying pan.
Jeff: Peach is now going after Popo! Nana attacks from behind!
Ryan: Now the acid is hitting Peach, Nana, and Popo! All 3!
Jeff: Nana nearly scored the Blizzard attack!
Ryan: Peach with that Golf Club! She & Nana both go down!
Jeff: OH YEAH! Great shot by Nana!
Ryan: But Peach comes back and sends Nana up!
Jeff: Peach is cheating! There's a vegetable thrown at Nana! Bleech! Tastes terrible. That's why it hurts.
Ryan: Nana falls and is taking more shots from the acid! She's at 300%!
Jeff: Peach at 186%. This is 0.5 damage mode.
Ryan: Nana can't get up! She's knocked out!
Jeff: Peach wins?
Ryan: Yes! Peach wins the match!
Dean: Ladies and Gentlemen, in the result of a TKO, the winner of the match and still the SSB Melee Women's Champion, Princess Peach Toadstool! (crowd is booing!)
Ryan: I guess eskimos can't take heat like that.
Jeff: TKO?! I thought that was only in those THQ Wrestling games on the N64! WWE No Mercy, WCW/NWO Revenge...
Ryan: I get it. Anything can happen in the Melee World. Up next, Luigi is defending the European title against Falco Lombardi! We'll be right back.

SSB MELEE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP-          vs
Jeff: I like seeing Luigi back. He's defending the European title the first time since returning!
Ryan: However, Falco Lombardi on the other hand is undefeated. He and Fox McCloud are one of the toughest Tag Teams you'll ever see in SSB History.
Jeff: I hope Luigi wins this match.
(The broadcast gets interrupted by the NWO! The NWO logo is shown as the theme plays and the lights are black & white! Falco Lombardi enters!)
Dean: The following contest is scheduled for 1 stock and is for the SSB Melee European Championship. Making his way to the ring representing the NWO, from Corneria weighing at 160 pounds, Falco Lombardi!
Jeff: Falco is a valuable member for the NWO. He might win the European Championship today.
Ryan: However since his return, Luigi is undefeated also.
(The lights turn green! The Ghostbusters theme plays!)
Jeff: There's something strange...in the neighborhood...who are you gonna call?...LUIGI! And there he is!
Dean: And his opponent from the Mushroom Kingdom, weighting at 140 pounds, he is the SSB Melee European Champion, Luigi!
Jeff: Luigi verses NWO member Falco Lombardi!
(The Bell Rings!)
Ryan: Luigi quickly with a Green Missile attack! Right across the ring, at Falco!
Jeff: Both are delivering punches. Deliver PIZZA, someone.
Ryan: Well those punches and kicks are getting stronger. Both are building up strength.
Jeff: LUIGI TOSSES FALCO IN THE AIR! Luigi with a Karate Chop! Now a Sweep! Such aggression!
Falco: HIYA! (blasts through Luigi)
Ryan: Nice Firebird attack by Falco. Falco now trying to fight back.
Jeff: Looks like Luigi's gonna win! He used his ass to attack!
Ryan: There's another Karate Chop by Luigi! But it ain't over yet! Falco is now taking shots from the acid!
Jeff: Falco's back in. Nice Enziguri. WHOA, Luigi nearly scored his finisher, but it did 1%. 1 coin.
Ryan: Luigi hits the acid, BUT HE SENDS FALCO FLYING! GREEN MISSILE BY LUIGI!
Jeff: Falco now fighting back.
Ryan: There's a Karate Kick by Luigi! Falco now at 300%! Luigi throws him!
Falco: HIY--(LUIGI HEADBUTTS FALCO!) OOAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Jeff: WHOA! Luigi countered the Fire Bird! LUIGI WINS!
Dean: Here is your winner, and still the SSB Melee European Champion, Luigi!
Ryan: That was a quick match. Luigi's been undefeated since his return to SSB!
Jeff: I wonder how long he can hold that title?
Ryan: Who knows? Could be a long time.
(The camera ia backstage in Mario's locker room. Mario is on the phone.)
Mario: Ha-ha! That's right, Daisy! Even though Luigi retained his title today, I still got another man to take care of! Mr. Game & Watch is gonna die in this 4 Way Match! He won't win! Neither will that other moron, Ice Climber Popo! My close friends, Kirby & Pikachu are gonna survive and win! (The door knocks) Look I'll call you back. See ya. (Mario hangs up.) Come in! (BOWSER comes in! The crowd goes nuts!)
Ryan: Uh oh. (MARIO AND BOWSER STARE EACH OTHER DOWN!)
Mario: Bowser.
Bowser: Mario.
Mario: It's uh...been a long time since I've seen you face to face. You're stronger than ever, you've gotten muscular, and uh...officially, you're undefeated. How can I help you?
Bowser: You heard what I said last week? I want the match now! I WANT MEWTWO IN THE RING TODAY! (crowd is cheering!)
Mario: Uh...that's fine. You got your match against Mewtwo! Just a regular 1 fall match?
Bowser: I just want to kick Mewtwo's ass today! I don't care what kind of match it is!
Mario: Okay, 1 fall it is! (takes out his hand) Good luck, Bowser.
Jeff: He wants to shake hands with Bowser?
(Bowser shoves Mario's hand out of the way and leaves!)
Jeff: Ha-ha, Mario! Bowser refuses to shake hands with you!
Ryan: Bowser will be facing Mewtwo later today! And coming up, the Tag Team titles are on the line! Captain Falcon & Samus verses Young Link & Pichu!
(Commercial Break)

(Kirby's theme plays! The crowd is booing! Kirby enters with a magazine and microphone!)
Dean: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome, Kirby!
Ryan: Well I'm not sure what Kirby is goign to say here today. Last time we saw him was at Memorial Civil War, when he lost to Yoshi.
Jeff: Oh well, Kirby doesn't deserve to be Intercontinental Champion anyway.
Ryan: But at Memorial Civil War 2001, which was last year, he nearly became the World Champion but he lost to Link.
Jeff: Kirby is just to damn cocky to me.
Kirby: Alright. I've got news that all of you are gonna love! You see, it's all in this magazine. Nintendo Power Volume 158! On the cover is E3, but look near the back of this issue! A KIRBY COMIC!!! (crowd is booing) Whoa, I'm not finished yet! It says here that Nintendo Power scored this exclusive anime comic series based on THE NEW KIRBY TV SHOW, which will debut on the FOX Network's new FOXBOX Saturday Morning on SEPTEMBER 14th!!! WHOO-HOO! MY OWN TV SHOW! Isn't that great?! (crowd is booing and chanting "asshole" at Kirby!)
Jeff: Kirby is gonna have a TV Show?!
Kirby: And that's not all! I have my own website "kirbygames.com"! Now we all know I've been busy for the last 2 years, scooping up crystal shards on the N64, tilting and tumbling on the Game Boy Color, and breathing down everyone else's neck here in SSB Melee and the GCN game. But remember, starting this fall, I'm taking center stage like never before, WITH MY OWN SATURDAY MORNING CARTOON! It premieres September 14 on the FOX network's FoxBox! There should still be some to read! Here we go--(KIRBY FINDS FIRECRACKERS IN HIS MAGAZINE AND THEY EXPLODE IN KIRBY'S FACE!) AAAAAHHHH!!!!!! (crowd goes nuts!) GRR!!!! I KNOW WHO DID THIS! YOSHI!!! GET OUR BUTT OUT HERE!!!
(Ice-like music is playing!)
Jeff: Wait a minute! This isn't Yoshi! This is Ice Climber Popo!
Ryan: Popo is one of Kirby's opponents today. For the Light-Heavyweight title. I don't know what Popo wants.
Kirby: I said I wanted Yoshi, not some eskimo retard! (crowd is booing)
Popo: Just a sec here, Kirby! You think it was Yoshi that ripped your comics and put that firecracker in your magazine? Think again. (crowd is cheering) It was me!
Jeff: What?! Popo did that to Kirby?
Popo: But that was good for everyone here, Kirby! At least seeing you get mad and get blown up, you entertained these people here! Sure was funny! But you know something, Kirby? You're comic and cartoon crap is already getting out of hand! No one cares about you anyway!
Kirby: What?! (crowd yells out "what?!")
Jeff: Oh, not this dumb "what" quote Kirby stole from Austin again!
Popo: I said no one cares about--
Kirby: What?! (crowd "what?!") No one cares about Kirby? What? (what) These people would die if my cartoon would never come out! (crowd boos) It's gonna be the best anime EVER! (what) Better than all the rest like Dragonball Z, (what) Digimon, (what) Sailor Moon, (what) Pokemon, (what) Yu-gi-oh!, (what) and all the rest! (what) And after I leave with the Light-Heavyweight title, (what) I'm gonna be a hero (what) when they find out that not only am I gonna have a TV Show, (what) that I'm also gonna be a champion! (what) And that's the bottom line, cause Kirby said so! (leaves with his theme)
Jeff: That's what sucks about Kirby. He steals the what quote and he doesn't care about others!
Ryan: Well that's coming later. The Tag Team title match is coming up next!

SSB MELEE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP-      &       vs     &
Ryan: Well, Captain Falcon and Samus are the greatest Tag Team of all time; they've held the titles since last November! Not only that, it's only their second time they've held the titles!
Jeff: Yep, they're 2-time tag team Champions! I hope they lose today!
Ryan: I don't know because Young Link & Pichu both are beginners here. We have seen neither one of theme win a match yet.
(Saria's Song is playing. Young Link & Pichu both enter.)
Dean: The follwoing contest is scheduled for 1 stock. Introducing first, at a combined weight of about 105 pounds, Young Link and Pichu!
Jeff: You just said these 2 have never won a match in their whole career yet?!
Ryan: That's right. Both are very quick, but you just need endurance and power to win.

Ryan: Well we all know we are in Samus' hometown, Brinstar, which is a city in Planet Zebes.
Jeff: Let's see if Young Link and Pichu can win their first belts! Why can't they just buy a belt at the mall?
Ryan: Because they want a Championship belt.
(The Bell Rings!)
Ryan: Captain Falcon is going after Pichu at the left side. Samus going after Young Link at the right side. Screw Attack by Samus. This is Samus' hometown, like I just said.
Jeff: Samus is burning Young Link! Captain Falcon all over Pichu! Call the Fire Depatment!
Ryan: Pichu with Agility! He's going out of control! HE'S FALLING!
Jeff: HE SCREWED UP! PICHU IS ELIMINATED! What a moron.
Ryan: Young Link is now being doubleteamed. He is the stronger man of the Tag Team of Young Link & Pichu.
Captain Falcon: I'm gonna dunk you!
Jeff: CAPTAIN FALCON MISSED! HE'S FALLING ALSO!!!
CF: AAAAAAHHHH!!!!
Jeff: Now it's just a normal match! Young Link verses Samus Aran! But Young Link has already taken a beating.
Ryan: Samus is all over Young Link! Young Link hits the acid! Samus threw him out of the ring! It's over! Captain Falcon & Samus win again!
Dean: Here are your winners, and still the SSB Melee Tag Team Champions, Captain Falcon and Samus Aran!
Jeff: Why don't we throw out the Tag Team titles? Captain Falcon and Samus are unbeatable!
Ryan: No. They'll lose someday.
Jeff: Hope so.
