Note: This recipe makes 3 medium sized pizzas.
Ingredients
- 1 yeast cake
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 6 cups sifted flour
- 2 cups warm milk
- one half cup peanut oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Mixing the Dough
- Crumble the yeast cake and dissolve it in 2 tablespoons of water in a large bowl
- Add the teaspoon of sugar and 2 cups of warm milk
- Add the 2 cups of sifted flour
- Mix thoroughly
- Next add the peanut oil and salt to the mixture
- Add 4 more cups of sifted flour
- Thoroughly mix adding more sifted flour if mixture remains sticky
- Mix and kneed for about 10 minutes
- Let rise in a warm place for about one hour
Ingredients
- Two 15 ounce cans of Chef Boyardee pizza sauce
- One half tablespoon sugar
- Red pepper as desired
- Two tablespoons of sharp cheese
Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl
Procedure
- After dough has risen, divide it into three balls
- Roll each ball into 3 flat pan sized sheets - Build up the edges to hold the sauce
- Spread sheets in pans - don't oil the bottom of each pan
- Spread sauce on each pizza
- Sprinkle thyme, garlic salt, oregano, and red pepper on each pizza as desired
- Cover each pizza with cheeze (half sharp, half mozzarella)
- Rub an ample amount of peanut oil along the raised edges of the dough
- Add toppings (pepperoni, mushrooms, etc. as desired)
- Preheat oven and bake each pizza for 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
