I'm trying to put together some info regarding the party's past. How much has Tarranyr been told about the fort? I'm especially curious about how the party got it. I believe that Tusk Riders were in it and you drove them off. How much do you know about them? Did you ever learn anything about them such as names or what became of them?
If Tarranyr asks Arcus for his knowledge of the group and the fort, Arcus will reply:
Looking for fodder for your merchant's tales, Tarranyr? I don't know that much about either, to tell you the truth, perhaps only enough to give that long nose of yours a strong sniff.
I joined the group shortly before you did. Tyson, Caernak, Pachala and Ellowhyn gained possession of the fort some years ago, then went away on some mysterious quest, where they became entangled with the sorceror First Dreamer. A few years ago, they came back to find the fort occupied by creatures of the dark, Trolls, and requested help from the glorious light of Yelmalio to recover it. I joined them then, to fight to recover the fort. Though Tyson was the strangest person I'd ever met, and Ellowhyn the most lascivious, Caernak impressed me with his heroism and bravery, and Pachala with his calm and leveled destruction of all that is chaos. I've been hanging out here ever since.
I'm still unclear on how it happened, but shortly afterwards, we were all washed downriver in a terrible flood, it must have been the work of the mighty Zola Fel, because we were washed all the way down to Corflu. We were attacked by shades and sea-monsters, were joined by a strange seaman who wielded two swords, and helped the hero Baron defeat a seamonster named the Polisher.
A short while after, the First Dreamer sorceror returned to bedevil us. In a terrible fight, we managed to put him back in crypt, though I have this strange certainty that he actually won the fight and killed most of us, it must be one of those sorcerous spells he used. Ellowhyn became keeper of the fort then, and later passed the role on to her follower, Idylla.
Since then, we've explored some areas around and underneath the fort, have done some odd jobs for the Sun Dome temple [Arcus knows that Tarranyr has probably figured out that the group went on a mission for the Sun Dome which it could not publicly sanction, but he will not talk about it more than he has to. Arcus trusts that Tarranyr will not talk about what he knows also], and whenever possible, we've cleared out chaos nests, such as the one where you were found.
For more details, you should probably talk to Tyson, he's always taking notes about the flowers and such that we pass by, though they seem to mostly scratchwork to me.

I guess I wasn't clear enough on the authority Elohwyn handed out. Caernak and Idylla have equal authority over Wyrmsjaw and its defenses. Additionally, neither one of them can activate the fort against anyone who's been given entry permission by the other one.
Elohwyn retains the "Wardership". What happens if she dies, I have no idea.
See if tison provides records of your [Arcus'] mighty deeds to the temple.
We originally took the fort from some tusk riders who had scared out other panic adventures (john?). These guys were a disposed faction from some city north and west of here, let me check my notes (john?). We still have some of their artifacts and someone who might have been morta got away. We took it with the aid of the panic survivors at the request of benderath.
All was well until we went on a quest to find the fabled city of feroda. This trip ended up taking a few years longer than expected... When we came back the fort was occupied by zorak zorani trolls, who proved to be a real pain, but we eventually disposed of them with the help of some interesting allies that elowyn dug up. She seemed to have contacts with the dark which i would be very interested to learn more of.
(which reminds me... john, next time i see voltain we need to see if he has anything to say about the dark, or any interest in seeing it)
You probably know most of the rest of it including how we freed this flaming troublesome goddess and lost control of the fort to your friends. Probably a good trade over all, although I always found first dreamer interesting to talk to....

Re: Past history, yes the Tusk Riders were Gagarthi (wild hunt storm god) bandits from Adari (wild frontier city northwest of Pavis, on the edge of the troll queendom). Various bandits, pavisites, adventurers, and such had traded the fort over previous years, as always. Morta authored some of the old Lhankor Mhy documents on the fort.
