Falzon Palace (Norman House)

One of the attractions of Medina are the numerous and varied door knockers, both antique and of more recent date, which can be seen on the doors of the city's palaces and houses.

The masterpiece of the Museum's picture gallery is the polyptych of Saint Paul, which until 1682 was the altar-piece of the ancient Cathedral. Subsequently it was replaced with a canvas by Mattia Preti, but up until 1780 the central part remained in situ beneath the new altar-piece.
