The black mage named Vivi seems a little lost in Alexandria.You'll need a few tips to get your bearings,and you can greatly boost your inventory in no time at all by searching every nook and cranny. This town is full of all kinds of items and extra Gil, so explore the area fully and leave no stone unturned.Make sure you scour the landscape, and don't forget to go indoors to vist the locals.There may be a few items to pick up there as well.

      When you're done exploring,travel back the way Vivi came into Memorial Square.Search around the outer perimeter to find a Zombie Card,a Lizard Man Card,and a Sahagin Card.Return to Vivi's path and continue upward through the streets.

      In the areas where the nobles are marching off,search in the grass close to the screen to uncover a Goblin Card.Then duck inside the Morning Star Bar and search for a Flan Card and some additional stuff for your inventory.

      Continuing into the next section,talk to Mick about Vivi's Ticket.Also, pay a visit to Doug's Item Shop.You can purchase items for your inventory if Vivi's stock isn't up to your liking.

      The ticket booth is in the center of Alexandria's Main Square.This is where Vivi learns that his ticket is fake.The Ticketmaster feels bad and gives Vivi some cards.

      While running down the alley,Vivi trips and falls causing a nearby handyman to quit for the day.When the rat-boy Puck offers to get Vivi in to see the show, you have a choice of accompanying him as his "slave" or refusing him.If you feel that you've explored the town enough and have found of the items,accept his offer.Once you agree to be his slave,Puck steals the ladder,and leads Vivi to an old bell tower.

      As you head for the bell tower,make sure you go inside each area and explore.You don't want to pass up any extra items or Gil and you'll defintely find some in this area.

      Inside the bell tower,Puck and Vivi bump into the friendly moogles named Kupo and Stiltzkin whenever he appears.After exploring the area,join Puck at the top of the tower.

      Puck leads Vivi across the rooftops of Alexandria.Don't rush to catch up,take take your time and search the chimneys off the path to find a few stashes of Gil. As you enter the castle the play starts.

      During Tantalus' performance,Zidane and the gang fight Baku(King Leo)and the others. They come equipped with Special Effects(SFX)to liven up the event.These amazing pyrotechnics cause no damage.Elimate the two guards immediately.Baku proves to be a bit tougher.(Baku has 186HP and 373MPand the guards have 28HP and 149MP.there is nothing to steal.)

     Next up,Blank and Zidane begin a choreographed stage fight.You must follow Blank's lead by pushing the buttons he tells you to push-very quickly.Accuracy and speed are both factors in how well things go.

     When the Queen learns of Garnet's disappearance,Captian Steiner of the Knights of Pluto is ordered to find the Princess.As Steiner,the objective is to rally the guards under him and search for Garnet.Check the registry on the wall in the Guardhouse to learn the names of all the knights.Then conduct a search of the castle for the knights.

      At the top of the tower,Stiener spots Zidane chasing Garnet.Now,as Zidane,you must pursue Garnet through the Prima Vista. Lead Garnet through the hold and back up to the stage.

     Now you will have to fight Stiener three times.In the 1st fight he has 162HP and 523MP.Make sure you steal from him in the first battle because this is the only time you can steal from him.He has a Leather Hat and a slik Shirt.On the 2nd fight he has 167HP and 620MP.On the 3rd fight he has 162HP and 770MP.The Bomb in the back of the 3rd fight has 1867HP and 359MP.(You can't destroy the Bomb so don't bother tring)

     Welcome, you have just crash landed in the Evil Forest.After you rejoin the crew equip your self with the best weapons and armor you have.Make sure you look for items outside the ship some might have fallen out.Before you leave the moggle in the area will tell you about ATE's in FF9.

     When your done talking to the moggle leave this area through the hollow log.In the next areas you will most likely have to fight some Fangs and Goblins.These monsters are not very strong so you will easily defeat them.(Make sure you level up in this area because if your still level one you will have a very hard time beating the up coming bosses.)

     After you walk through the forest you're goning to see a Prison Cage with Garnet in it.Run up to it and the boss fight begins.You're going to have to fight this Prison Cage Two times. In the first fight the boss has 513HP and 1000MP and in the second it has 533HP and1186MP.You can steal a Leather Wrist and a Broadsword. After you defeat the prison cage you get a Phoenix Down, Eye Drops, and a Goblin card.When the first battle starts Zidane will go into Trance. When he does this use his first ability.If you use the other ability (If you have it) you will kill Garnet. In the second fight the Prison cage takes Vivi captive.Every round Vivi will cast fire on the Prison Cage.Make sure you steal the Leather Wrist because it teaches Vivi Bilzzard.
