Back on the wreaked Prima Vista, Zidane wants to go look for the mising princess.Baku won't let you look for her, so when he's done yelling at you go search the ship for items. When Blank leaves Vivi's room, go in and speak to him. When you leave the room, you must choose to stay in Tantalus or quit and go look for the princess.(It doesn't matter which one you choose you still quit and go loo for her.) After you decide what to do, go down stairs and tell Baku. Before he will let you leave you must face him in one-on-one combat. Baku in this battle has 150HP and 1285MP.You can steal a Hi-Potion and a Iron Sword.You should really try to get the Iron Sword because you can equip it to Steiner.The only thing I can tell you to help you win is to use a potion if your HP gets to low. Now that your free to go, go to Steiners room. After talking to him he will join your party. Make sure you equip him with some weapons. If you stole the Iron Sword like I said that is the sword you should equip Steiner with. After Steiner joins go to Vivi's room and talk yo him. When he joins your party equip him with the Leather Wrist and the Silk Shirt if you have them.(They add two more spells to Vivi's magic list.) On your way out Blank gives you some of his medicine to use on Princess Garnet when you find her.Before you leave make sure you got all the items on the ship and if your not happy with the items you have buy some from Cinna.Also make sure you save before going into the forest. After you walk in the forest for a while you will find a small clearing that has a lake in it.The lake will fully restore your HP and MP.Monty the moogle is hiding in the hollow stump, so give him the letter from Kupo(If you have it.)and save your game. Soon after the clearing you will find the Plant Brain.The Plant Brain has 916HP and 1431MP.You can steal a Iron Helm and Eye Drops from this monster. The Plant Brain has a weakness to fire so have Vivi cast fire and have Steiner use fire sword.When the Plant Brain uses it's Pollen attack have a party member use Eye Drops on the party members affected with darkness. After you beat the Plant Brain you must flee the forest.You will be attacked by a few Plant Spiders.Don't worry they are very weak so destroy the quickly.When the middle of the cinema Blank will throw you the continental map.Press select on the world map to view this map. When you leave the forest some moogles will teach you some stuff.When their done you must cross the plains in search of the Ice Carvern.The Ice Carvern is almost directly south of the Evil Forest.My opinion is you should level up your people and learn some new abilities before you go into the Ice Carvern.You might want to steal some items from the monsters you find to improve your inventory. The east side of the North Gate is on the far west of the Ice Carvern.There really isn't much to do here.When you walk up to the gate an icon will appear over your head.After you answer the questions you can buy some items.After your done looking around you can leave. There are many dangers in this frozen waste land. To get threw it just follow the path till you find a fork in the road. In the next area you'll notice that some of the walls look different. If you go up to the walls that look this way and press X Vivi will melt them. Monsters of the ice All of the monsters you will find here have a weakness to fire. To speed up battles use Vivi's fire and Stiener's fire swd.
