Recycled Percussion is a group of four guys from
New Hampshire that loves to make music with trash. Their instruments
consist of recycled trashcans, ladders, drills, buckets, cans, cones,
water tanks, gas tanks, scuba tanks, duct tape, a chainsaw, their bodies
and voices, drumsticks, and even the kitchen sink. They use these instruments
in their shows to produce a unique and rhythmic sound. RP performs at
schools in and around New England and brings a positive message with
them.
Recycled Percussion has been
seen by millions of people since they started as a talent show act in
1994. They have appeared on national and local television numerous times.
Their appearance on "The Crook and Chase Show" in Nashville,
Tennessee was soon after seen on HBO and also on "Talk Soup".
They have opened for LL Cool J and were on the front page of USA Today
in 1999. They also have performed with 311, Godsmack, and Miss NH 2000.
Most recently, they performed at half-time for the San Francisco 49ers
in front of 60,000+ people.
Regardless of all their success
and accomplishment, they still maintain a down to earth and positive
attitude. They share this and their musical gifts along with a positive
message with kids and adults and leave them "thoroughly funked"
after their shows.
