Mom & Dad

This is us with our mom and dad

History. Dad and mom met during their university days. They were studying in the then School of Building and Estate Management. Most people called it BEM. They dated for about 6 years before they got married in January 1996.

India. Dad was sent to work in India within less than a year after they tied the knot. And NO...I (Tim) wasn't Made in India as Mom did not follow dad to India since they weren't sure what to expect in India. Anyway, dad came back to Singapore every 3 months.

Just when mom decided that she wanted to join Dad in India, she found out that she conceived me! Mom told me she cried when she found out she had me cos she was scared as dad wasn't with her. Well, I made sure that dad was back in Singapore before I came out of mom's tummy. So dad actually witnessed my birth. I was sure glad to see him there...in the delivery suite.

To both mom's and my disappointment, dad has to stay in India for another year. He only came back for 4-5 visits during my entire first year. Each vsits lasted about 10 days. But I made sure we spent quality time together whenever he was back. Mom said there seems to be some special bonding between us cos I wasn't afraid of dad at all even though I seldom saw him. Dad came back to Singapore to work shortly after I turned one.

Mom is a WOHM (this means Work-Outside-Home-Mom). When she is not working, she spends most of her time with us. If mom has a choice, we know she'll rather be a SAHM (Stay-At-Home-Mom) anytime.

Dad works in a construction company. He is always working late. But whenever he comes back early, we get to go out and have some fun together! We love best when our dad brings us to Arcade Games!
