Following the death of Augustus Adfectio and the birth of Augustus Diabolos, Roy felt himself being drawn back towards the Antarctica Shrine by the power of darkness, but the good inside him prevented his whole being from being taken. But, because of this, his shadow became independent of his body and left on its own accord, thus bringing Dark Roy into the world as his own being...
The shadow had travelled far, its destination; Antarctica. The power that summoned it was in the form of three transformed beings, much like Roy�s, their wills turned from good to evil. However, Roy was different; the evil had not consumed him fully, but escaped him. As his destination grew nearer, he felt the increasing evil power grow and grow, until he was right above the shrine. As quick as lightning he descended through one of the crystal windows, shattering it in fantastic style, sending glass falling around the three accomplices present there. As he fell, flames breached his body, engulfing him in a brilliant red fireball.
�What the hell was that?!� the male of the three exclaimed. �Who goes there?!� he exclaimed again, looking on towards the fireball.
As the flames cleared, the trio looked on, to what looked like a person, but was somewhat faded and dark. In the clearing flames, knelt a boy no older than eighteen. His red hair ablaze like fire, he knelt with his head bowed.
�Jeremy� Lilith� Kyarra�� he spoke out. �Your now evil wills have summoned me here, I wish to join you, together this world, humanity will pay��
�Hmph, how can we trust you?� Lilith said sternly staring at the young boy.
�Because, you know me, it is I Roy,� the boy said, lifting his head up. �I swore my allegiance to this guild, and I shall stay loyal, no matter how corrupt and evil it�s goals.� His eyes burned with the same intensity as Roy�s, but red, a brilliant red.
�In that case, welcome, Roy�� Ferefire spoke out�
Dark Roy remained separated from Roy�s body for a time, doing the bidding of Augustus Diabolos, whereas Roy joined an organisation called the Hallowed Sentinels, who set up their base in Beijing. They were shortly attacked by enemies, one of whom was very familiar. It was Soranus, and as Roy looked upon the fiend who had killed his Grandmother, and his brother, he was overrun with emotions.
Far away, on the other side of the world, Dark Roy was in combat, and as Roy felt this surge of emotion, so did he. He quickly pulled out of the battle, contemplated his options, and after careful deliberation, he decided to head to Roy�s location. And when he arrived, he saw him also. He filled with rage and hate, and kidnapped Roy from the battlefield, confronting him, and offering him a bargain. The two decided they would join forces mutually, and only in the interest of defeating Soranus. It was, after all, the hate for Soranus combined with the calling of Augustus Diabolos, which spawned Dark Roy. After their deed was done, they would re-separate, and take their own paths once more. They merged, and took on Soranus, and after a long, drawn out battle, which resulted in most of the Himalayan mountain range being destroyed; they triumphed over him, and finished him, once and for all.
The pair then split again, and Roy was left to help rebuild and reform the Himalayas, and the towns and villages caught in the crossfire.
However, things could not be this way. Both Roy and Dark Roy began experiencing terrible pain, and aguish. It seemed that they could not continue to live without the other to balance them. Without one, there could not be another. And so, once more, the sought after one another, and after a long and arduous journey, they rejoined, and regained their physical existence.
Now Roy has joined up with a legendary organisation known as the Brotherhood of the Watchful Dragon, of which, Bob was once a member.
