Teachers, here is some help with Step 6. Use the Toyota 2004 Annual Report as an example. Scroll down to page 4. Each question is answered, so you know where and how to find this information.
1. What are your company's latest reported revenues? Have they increased or decreased from the previous year? $163,627,000, Revenues increased from the previous year. 2.What are your company's latest reported net income? Has it increased or decreased form the previous year? $10,995,000, Net income increased from the previous year. 3. If you owned a share of your company's stock, what would your cash dividend per share be? $0.43 4. Look at the reported share performance. What is the price per share of your company (according to the annual report)? $36.71 5. What are the earnings (net income) per share? $3.24 6.What is your company's Price to Earning's ratio (P/E) using per share data? (36.71/3.24)= 11.33 7.
