1. Browse the People section.



2. Find the Science and Inventors section, then click it.



3. Find an article on a specific American Scientist/Inventor for this assignment.



4. An example of a choice would be Thomas A. Edison. He has 24 articles written about his life.



5. Browse through the articles. One article, "Thomas Alva Edison 1847-1931," discusses Edison's life and inventions.



6. After reading some of the articles students should be able to interpret the impact Edison's inventions had on the United States.
