Cheers immediately following a Pointer goal
This is the sequence of cheers that imediately follow a Pointer
score.
When a Pointer goal is scored, after the crowd goes wild, the
annoucer will start anouncing the goal. While the announcement is being made,
ROWDY CROWDer's will circle a hand with a pointed finger over their head,
hissing "ssssssssssssss".
After the announcement is done, the ROWDY CROWD
starts chanting "Sieve, Sieve, Sieve" at the opposing goalie while pointing at
him with each "Sieve"
This chant is started VERY SLOWLY and slowly speeds up
until you can't chant it any faster.
Immediately following the "Sieve" cheer, the ROWDY CROWD
starts to sing:
There's a hole in your goalie, (teams name), (teams
name),
there's a hole in your goalie (teams name), a hole.
You SUCK as a
goalie, dear (goalie's name), dear (goalie's name),
You SUCK as a goalie, dear
(goalie's name), YOU SUCK!!
Immediately following this chear, The ROWDY CROWD starts
to sing:
(to the tune of "Mary had a little lamb")
(Goalie's name) is a
great big sieve,
great big sieve,
great big sieve!
(Goalie's name) is a
great big sieve,
he lets the puck go by!
Immediately following this cheer, the ROWDY CROWD starts
what is called a "Five Count"
This is where the ROWDY CROWD starts chanting
the goalie's name. His name gets chanted 5 times, then after the fifth time
everyone yells "SUCKS!!!"
Take Mikey, St Norberts' goalie for example. The 5
count goes like
this:
