Trading post at Arizona border

| We then crossed over into Arizona. Once in Arizona, we were mostly on the interstate
because too much of Route 66 was not passable. |

| We made it to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest.
Wow. It was so cool!

We spent two hours going through. It was
neat because we paid $10 to drive through the 26 miles. We stopped at look-out points and
took lots of pictures. The petrified wood was really pretty. |

| After we went through the park we went to our motel--
The Wigwam Motel. It is really cool. We have our own little
wigwam. I've really wanted to stay here! This is another really neatly decorated room! |
