Featured Drawing:

My sweet baby nephew

12.22.05

This is a solemn drawing that doesn't look much like me, but I took it to a salon as an example of how I wanted my hair cut.

6.4.03

This was my breakthrough drawing!  After I drew this and made it look alive, I had confidence I could carry that through to my later drawings.

9.29.03

Another expressive picture drawn very lightly. All of my first drawings are very light and make it difficult to capture the detail in a scan.  This is a likeness of the actress Carrie-Anne Moss.

11.21.03

The eyes in the original are very soft and gentle.  It is one of the only drawings on which I recorded the time I spent drawing.  At this point, 1.5 hours seemed like a long time.

1.4.04

The faded out effect at the right is nice.  This is just drawn from a car advertisement.  I got a lot of my inspiration from magazine pictures.

4.17.04

This drawing has a look of my Grandma Kathryn about it.  The hand holding the strawberry is delicately relaxed.

8.12.04

This is the first drawing I ever did of world renowned bodybuilder, Dave Palumbo.  It was the first of many in a series of bodybuilding drawings and eventually became the introduction drawing to his training manual, Perfect Prison Physique.*

10.14.05
This cable crossover drawing was done from a signed photo of Dave Palumbo and is also seen in Perfect Prison Physique.*

11.6.05

Dave Palumbo at 315 pounds.  This was a possible logo choice.

2.17.06

This is my favorite drawing in the series.  Dave has all the originals of himself, thereby becoming my biggest collector..........lol.

2.21.06

This was the final product in a long collaboration to design a logo for the potential bodybuilding team Top Guns.

2.27.06

This is a good side bicep pose of bodybuilder Alex Federov, but I've been told the face looks something like my brother.

3.20.06

Not one of my favorites, but it shows a lot of good vascular definition.

4.10.06

This was my birthday present to my brother. I don't have a larger scan.

4.27.06

Drawn from a photo of Dave at the 1996 Nationals.*

6.23.06

Dave Palumbo and Colette Nelson.*

8.27.06

A potential logo design for supplement line SPECIES.

8.12.06

Drawing of IFBB Pro and Ms. Olympia competitor, Colette Nelson.

9.23.06
