Hi ! My name is Rosie Ratz. I left the place of my birth today and was taken to the coolest place. I was given the most delicious food I'd ever tasted in my whole 5 weeks.
There are a few more animals here outside my new home but they don't look much like me. Some have two legs and about six have four legs and 'Meow'. I must be pretty special because the Meows can't get enough of watching my every move!
And the two legged ones called themselves Daddy Ratz and Momma Ratz. They're the ones that are always fussing inside my home bringing me goodies and even fixed up this square thing they keep putting me inside and saying, "look this is your little house". I scoot out everytime they put me in so maybe it's a game we'll play. Squeak! Squeak!

Daddy Ratz is sure proud of our new adopted baby Rosie. He's had her out playing finger games three times since she came with us from the pet shop. She's had seeds to eat and a piece of apple. No problem with her eating. And she is such a friendly little girl. Our cats love her. We are trying to discourage her as a meal in their eyes and think of her more as a baby sister and part of the family. From the sparkle in their eyes we know they already think highly of her. They watch her constantly and we call her their "Rat TV". Their favorite show!!

Well, Momma and I have become the proud parents of our adopted Rosie. We are one big Ratz family now. Our baby Rosie and our 6 cats. Rosie was so happy with her new home today. She scurried everywhere talking to herself. She must have been starved the way she ate. We made her a little cardboard house for her to sleep in and hide but she seems to think it's just decoration and doesn't want to get in it. Everytime we put her in, she pops out. I think she might be playing a 'baby rat' game with us.

This is so frustrating I think all seven of us are going to have to lay cool and think this over after our afternoon napurrr. Watching Rat TV puts me in a trance and makes me sleepy as a kitten. I'm well past kitten-hood by a year and a half now and the spokesman for the Catz since as the runt of my litter I'm extremely intelligent. Catch cha later. MEEEOW!
