Our Guild Leader:

Im a 28-year old who has a full-time job and a fiancee (wedding May 14th, 2005), and I work in the Washington DC Metro area. I work in systems design and software development.

I am currently a level 50 Warrior, and the guild leader.

I have a great standard for our guild. I enjoy a little bit of roleplaying, as long as its not to the point of being inaccessible or stuck-up. Roleplaying in the sense of simply acting out the part (since I am an actor anyway), even if it only means using a macro once in a while the character, their past, and a bit of gusto for the War between the Alliance and the Horde to make things fun.

I am a well-educated and mature adult, as well as longtime hardcore gamer, and am looking to lead our guild to the best of my ability, and truly put the members interests ahead of my own. Already, in proof of our guild goals and motives, I have paid a fortune in free tabard rewards, as well as other categorical rewards for guild members, and often do what I can to assist lower levels in questing.

Our Members:

We have 172 members as of now, with many in the high thirties. We have a lot of great and committed members who are leveling fast, and simultaneously helping the weak and the poor. Our guild welcomes all people we have a bit of everything.

Our Name and Cause:

I considered the name for our guild for a long time. Rose Of Sharon is something that shows up in pop culture as well as Biblical references. It doesn't have any literal meaning for the guild, we just thought it worked. The point of the guild is to have fun in the imaginary Warcraft world, and to do what we can shedding our lifes blood to win the war against the Horde.

We also are a "Robin Hood" type guild in the sense that we're always looking out for the weak and the helpless and we'll do whatever it takes to help them. We never turn down someone just because they're weak - if anything, we look for such opportunities. We have already been on one raid, and have plans for many more. We also have plans for guild tournaments and quests. We also have guild meetings when we can schedule them.
