Objectives (C1):
     1. Students will be able to explain why Environmental Science is interdisciplinary
     2. Students will be able to diagnose and illustrate some of the pressures on the global environment
  
HW: 1. In your groups, go to rff.org, choose one of the topics in the core knowledge section and do an overview of that topic to present to class in a              5 minute presentation.  You may use powerpoint  If you choose to do so, please bring your laptop to class on W, along with your key drive.

        2. One current events article for your ScrAPESbook, due Friday.

Wednesday:   Work on your presentations for the first 45 minutes.  You will then present your topic overview to the class.
  
HW: Read the Central Case for C2- The Mirrar Clan vs. the Uranium Mine
  
Friday   HALF DAY
Objective (C2):
     1. Students will characterize the influences of culture and worldview on the choices people make.
HW: Finish reading C2- Outcome statements are due on Monday.

Saturday- no field work scheduled
