~SWITZERLAND~

Mike and V just returned from a week's vacation in Switzerland and France.

They spent most of their time in Geneva, and while there, they toured the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

V introduces us to the gardens, which cover 28 acres.

Mike waves from a bed of red and white flowers!

Geneva's Botanical Gardens cover 28 acres, and consist of rock gardens,

perennials, streams and waterfalls. Greenhouses sheltering tropical plants from the six continents

are located on the Botanical grounds. The garden has thousands of roses, tulips, dahlias, and irises.

Like one visitor said, "It's a garden of scents and touch".

The Flower Clock you saw in miniature on the preceding page symbolizes the Geneva watch industry,

which is known around the world and appreciated for the quality and beauty of its creations.

And yes, it keeps accurate time!

Another shot of the gardens at Geneva.

Mike feeds the swans at Lake Geneva & Mont-Blanc Bridge.

Mike smiles good-bye from The Sale've, France, while in the background

a paraglider soars across a hazy Geneva sky.....
