XVII Star
This is the card of having a form of complete inner peace and understanding, and having achieved a sense of oneness with the universe. It is the strongest card of understanding ourselves, and being content with life. It is the prefect state of being.

Rising out of the water, or standing in the waters of life there is a totally serene figure, which is at peace and at one with all things. Her arms are crossed which can be seen as a cross of faith, or protection of the wisdom within her. She has a nobility of bearing and even the look of a serenity that comes with death. Her eyes are closed in sleep, or in concentration or in a trance in which she is contemplating all things. Above her is a stylized star, which symbolizes wisdom, divinity, understanding, truth, contentment and the state of being at peace with all things. The mountains are representative of an understanding of the material world. Her figure has seemingly has transcended the concerns of the world. Between the mountains there is a mist, which could be the veil between this world and another or the mists of time, in which case the figure in the Star card has moved beyond both the concerns of the world and temporal matters.

The star is the card of inner perfection and peace of mind and contentment of soul. This is the card of personal perfection.

Dignified: The card is the completeness of spiritual strength and understanding as well as a release from Earthly concerns. It is strength in the belief that each of us holds as personal truths and with those truths we have the strength to accomplish our dreams.

Reversed: The Star reversed indicates a lack of faith and preoccupation with the problems of the daily world to the point of despair. As well it may be a closed mind or a fear of the unknown and these fears have the powers to destroy our hopes and could be leading to a sense of denial and a refusal to accept personal accountability.

XVIII Moon
This is the card of transformation and change, the moon is always changing, it changes the waters of the seas in which we all were born, and it is only through change that we have growth.

The moon on this card is in its fullness, it is a sphere or a circle representing continuance, the cycle of the seasons and the ongoing and forever changing world around us. There are two columns, each of three pillars. The one on the right representing, our heart, our mind and spirit, and how we project these masculine attributes to the world. The one on the left, being the feminine within us; our emotions, our intelligence and our spirit. The masculine on one hand and the feminine on the other, it is the transformation, change and balance between these six things that we must always be aware of. Like the tides we are under influences that require us to yield, bend and change.

The card is change and the willingness to make a changes or transformations and to accept changes that are put before us.

Dignified: We see on the moon there is a female figure, she is the link to the past and the future, as she may be mother or she may be daughter. There is a door or portal, what is in it is unknown, and that is the fear of change we must face. The doorway offers us the place to embark on this journey of change.  Within the portal there are two lights, indicating that if we initiate change we do have some choice in what that change will be.
The Moon card dignified is a new beginning, and that beginning is found in the way we see ourselves and the way we see the world and act within that world. More so, even how we adapt to change and how we are willing to change from within.

Reversed:
This indicates an upheaval or unwanted change, a chaotic episode that will turn our lives upside down and in which we are force to react to changes, rather than initiate our choice of changes. Change it is inevitable, we are no more powerful to resist personal change as we are to resist the tides of the oceans which are influenced by the moon, so if this card is reversed, the Querant should act quickly to regain the initiative.

XIX Sun

The Sun, is the source of all life, it has always been worshipped and revered by cultures of the past. The warmth of the Sun chases away the chill of night, the light of the Sun fills the darkness the Sun is as far as our lives are concerned the singularly most important thing in the Universe. The Sun rises from the ocean and traverses the sky to set in the ocean once more. From the womb to the womb, an ongoing cycle of life. Guardians stand as to protect the Sun on its journey through both the sky and the underworld.

All good things are free and open to those who are willing to dream, it is important to those who dream to be as bright inside their heart as outside.

Dignified: The outcome you seek is assured and will be the fulfillment of your dreams. As sure as the Sun rises tomorrow you will be celebrating and rejoicing. The only warning that this card offers is that you do not lose sight of the source of your blessings. For as the sunlight can grant warmth and security if it is stared at to long or abused it can cause blindness. Celebrate and prosper but do not lose your humility or understanding.

Reversed:  You need to find a way to light the fire within your soul, the embers still burn, but you have stood too far from the fire. You need to re-examine your priorities and your life. You have denied yourself happiness too long. Take time to reacquaint yourself with the small beauties of life. Although you seem to feel the night will never end, it will you just need to believe in yourself and your dreams.
