The figure on the Judgement card is alone, naked and facing judgement with her sword behind her not in front for protection. This is how we must face or judgements, criticisms and ourselves. We will be alone, because we are totally and ultimately responsible, for our actions and for our inactions. Naked; because anything we wish to hide will be made known and if we are looking for a fair judgement we should have nothing to hide. Unarmed; because we can fight against the inevitable but that conflict is futile.
The Archway, which held us in as on the Emperor and Tower cards with pride and fear, and on the Hierophant and Chariot cards that showed us liberty and freedom is once again before us. We will be judged by the all seeing all knowing eye of the pyramid. Did we allow our ego and doubt to cloud our success or dictate or failure? Did we us our liberty and freedoms for self-serving purpose or for a greater good? If we did our best and succeeded that is good, if we did our best and yet failed, who can fault us for our best efforts? If we did nothing or if we expected others to carry us then perhaps we need fear our judgement.
Alone, naked and unarmed we must face our future and our judgement and we must acknowledge our life without fear or hesitation.
Dignified: The future is great, and there is nothing to be feared if you are willing to examine yourself and see both the good and the bad. It you face the future with faith and courage you can overcome many obstacles. You are on the right course you have the tools and the wisdom to see a completion of this journey with favourable results.
Reversed: You are really only deluded yourself, other can see through you like glass. Some don�t care if you are living a lie, others may be too kind to question you and some are waiting to see you fall and fail. None of these people will support you, you will fail and all the blame will be placed on you. It is never too late to change and admit your shortcomings.
XXI Universe
Our journey is complete with this card. The four element of total balance are here, the masculine and the feminine, of both the physical and the mental realms. As well we find here that the Sun and the Moon are present, these representing the male and female aspects of the spiritual. We have found that the world is more than just four directions of a circle it is a sphere also now including the �above� and the �below�. Were we had just balanced the Yin and the Yang of female and male and of inner and outer we now can balance the temporal and the eternal.
Everything in the Universe is forever, it may change and adapt, it may die and be reborn and because of that all things are sacred.
Dignified: You have achieved balance or you will soon find peace. You have all the awareness you need to be happy and complete. Others around you may not understand you, nor may you be able to explain to them how you feel. Lead by example and be a beacon to them. What you have to say to them may be not able to be put into words, so let your faith and actions speak for you. You have everything it takes, do not waste this moment remember all things change, now is your moment.
Reversed: You are too focused on the material, you have to look beyond the gold and glitter and examine the inner self and find the answers to those question that you are afraid to ask yourself. Don�t be afraid to laugh and don�t be afraid to cry. You are almost there, take a single step and take giant leap of faith. You have the power so look within.
