<.< Who the hell is that guy?

Ladies and gentlemen, meet (or reaquaint yourself with) Rorschach from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons's Watchmen comic. Um...it rocks. Lovely lady appearing on the splash page is none other than Harley Quinn, Joker's quirky sidekick from Batman.
Why? you may be asking yourself. Well, the answer is simple. I have a tendency to get obsessive about things, comic books included. After reading Watchmen and relearning much of what I'd forgotten in regards to web design, I decided to start afresh with Broken Spiral and include my favorite hero of the comic: Rorschach.
I like Rorschach more than should be sane. I like him because he an anithero. He is insane, and he is often times brutal. But he has a very clear idea of right and wrong, and I like that about him. He sticks to his guns, despite others all but hating him. I appreciate people who really know what they want and stop at nothing for it. Not to mention he looks so freakin' cool!
And, of course, rorschach tests being part of psychological examinations, I also find the delicious irony in the character. For more information, read the damned graphic novel, as I'll not give any more away.
However, my life recently began unravelling itself, so this seemed appropriate. And, truth be told, I don't need to explain my decisions to anyone but myself.
I've lost most of the pictures of my previous layouts, otherwise I would have them featured here as well. If I ever find them again, they'll be showcased as well. In the mean time, cry me a river and hold your breath. :D
