retainers, and the professional soldiers in western Europe during the Hundred Years War. Within the Company, there are several skilled artisans ranging from calligraphers, shoemakers, and woodworkers, to armorers and professional soldiers. It is the Companies goal to learn about the medieval era with the attitude of learning by doing. It is also important to the companions to share the knowledge and research of the company with other students and recreationists of the middle ages. The majority of the companies activities are done in the SCA, or Society for Creative Anachronism, a world-wide medieval recreation organisation. House Leonthas welcomes you to their encampment on the world-wide-web! |
