This is the part where I talk all about myself. Wonderful!

However, I decided to confine this 'about me' to my interest and involvement in fandoms. So, here we go...

I first started out in the Star Wars fandom, before moving to The Sentinel, with some smidgens of Due South and Stargate tossed in, to end up also devouring Harry Potter fics.

Currently, I am involved in both writing fanfiction and creating fanart. Although my endeavours in this area are, so far, confined to the Star Wars fandom, I am planning to branch out into other fandoms eventually.

As to what I like in the fandoms...

Star Wars:
I am a major fan of Luke/Vader fics - as in, father/son, well, actually, that would be son/father, fics. These often involve Anakin living at the end of ROTJ or finding Luke when he's still a kid - although I've also read others, such as Luke and Leia going back in time. I don't, however, like fics where Luke turns to the dark side.

The Sentinel:
Jim and Blair. Blair and Jim. Their interaction. Their bickering. Their teasing. Them. The whole idea of heightened senses. And yes, I tend to read Sentinel slash. As someone who only discovered the fandom in the last year, I'm fairly new to it, but it does have the great advantage that there are already hundreds of fics out there just waiting to be read...

Due South:
Well, when I read about the idea behind this series, I loved it. I haven't actually seen the show - and have really only come across it in crossovers with The Sentinel, but I liked what I read.

Stargate:
Mainly SG-1. Some Atlantis. Atlantis is great for crossing with Harry Potter. SG-1 is great for crossing with The Sentinel, and also because Jack and Daniel rock. I will read most pairings for SG-1... but not Sam/Pete, 'cos that's just ew (sorry if anyone disagrees). And not Jack/Laira - well, not usually. I have read a couple of really good ones. Oh, and no Jack/Teal'c... or Daniel/Teal'c. But... Jack/Sara, Jack/Sam (although I will read it I don't like as much as others), Jack/Daniel, Daniel/Sha're, those I am happy with.

Harry Potter:
I tend to prefer not to read pairings in this fandom, although I have read some Harry/Draco ones, Ron/Hermione ones, Harry/whichever-chick (insert Luna, Hermione, Ginny, Hannah, Susan, etc here).
I like fics where Harry is special, where he runs away, where he is smarter than he lets on, where something like time travel or dimension crossing happens. I also love fics that deal with the fandom in a way that allows Harry to be messed up with being beaten to near by his Uncle numerous times, etc. Such as "An Aunt's Love" or "Realisations" - 'cos really, the stuff that he deals with in the books? - that's enough to mess someone up without thinking that just because he's the hero he has to have the mose messed up life possible.
Oh, and I also quite enjoy Harry Potter/Stargate crossovers.

Anyway, that's about it for my fandoms... I suppose you could count MacGyver as another fandom of mine - I totally love Mac and SAM and all, but I tend to mainly only read MacGyver fics when they are crossed with Stargate.... so I left that in the crossovers fandom...
