| I spent my basic school at state elementary school called SD Negeri 9 Medan, just the opposite side of famous palace " Istana Maimon ". During this time I also learn about "Melayu dance". When I was in Secondary school in SMP Negeri 10 Medan, again I learn more about dance from different ethnic of Indonesia, such as Padang, Betawi, Makasar, or Batak. During high school at SMA Negeri I Medan ( favorite state high school among the student), I stopped learn dance, I was busy preparing for University entrance. |
| Luckily, after graduation, me together with about 100 students from our high school were selected to enter the university we choose without taking entrance examination. I was very happy. Since that time, I moved to Bandung (flower city, they called) to study at the Dept.of Geology, Padjadjaran University. That time I came to know that, only few female student selecting geology as their subject. In my batch, among 36 students only 3 were female. It was nice,?we are became a good friends, going for fieldwork, hiking or camping together. |

| After graduated, I had an opportunity to work at the Dept. of Geology, where I was study, as laboratory assistance. After sometimes, I was allowed to continue study in master program, than I applied for scholarship. |

| Thanks God, you always with me. I was selected to get scholarship and also accepted by the University I applied. I was study for master course at the division of Mineral Exploration, Dept. of Earth and Resources Surveys, of the International Institute for Aerospace Surveys and Earth Sciences, (ITC), in Delft, the Netherlands. During my study, I had an opportunity to visit others countries, such as Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium,as part of our fieldwork or just for holiday. |

| God is blessing me. Graduated as master student, I am back to my country and start working as an assistance lecture. After a year, I applied for Monbusho scholarship, offered by Japan government. Fortune is still with me, I accepted for a scholarship. Now I am studying for my doctor course in Resource Geology division, Dept. of Earth and Planetary Sciences of the Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, Japan. |
