More Than You Ever Wanted to Know About Me
Now I will proceed to ramble about myself for a very long time.
My name is Kathryn Steeves, but I`m mostly known by my handle, Rosa Aquafire. I answer to Rosa just as easily as I do Katie -- easier, when it`s online, really.
~REAL LIFE STUFF~

I am 19 years old and going into my second year of Univeristy at Atlantic Baptist University. I am an English major, studying to become a novelist. I`m also engaged and going to be married when I graduate. I`m hoping to transfer to Mount Allison University for my third year, and live with some friends.
I`ve been writing for as long as I can remember, it`s a very important part of my life now. I have a lot of stories in my head, and, unfortunately, I`m not writing any of them half as much as I should be.
I`m absolutely horrible at relationships, I have this tendency to focus all my attention on one person and ignore/avoid everyone else around me as much as I possibly can. I can`t say that I`d recommend this lifestyle to anyone else. It can leave you pretty lonely sometimes.
I`m inflicted with several mental conditions, the one that affects me most being DID, or as it`s more commonly know, Multiple Personlity Disorder. For all those freaking out and running away in horror, it`s not that big a deal. It`s essentially that there are many parts of my mind that I`ve purposely, but subconciously, separated from myself, and different triggers will cause some of these different parts of myself to come forward and take dominance. I`ll do things I don`t quite understand, but feel totally natural at the moment, and then, afterwards, my memories of my own actions (although not those of people around me) will be fuzzy. I know of four major "alters", not including my true self, and I`ve recently come to suspect another. The only reason I explain this here is for everyone to understand why I`ll, bytimes, do the most bizarre and out of character things. I`m still a normal person, it`s no different from having ADD, or being obsessive compulsive. I`m just a normal person who sometimes does some really off the wall things that even I don`t understand.
I live my my parents for now, as well as my younger sister, who some days I postively love, and others I want to rend limb from limb.
I am a complete and total dork, through and through. I think that world pretty much revolves around video games, japanese music, anime, and books.
To describe my personality would be extremely difficult. For those who know Gravitation, I have been described as a mixture of Shuichi, Ayaka, and Mika. For those know who Fire Emblem 7, I have been described as a mixture between Serra and Ninian. For those who know neither, I`ve been described as a mixture between a shy, quiet introvert who won`t make eye contact and sticks to the library and computer room, and a loud, annoying, opinionated pychobitch who`ll bite your head off if you don`t agree with every word she says.
Yes, you should be scared.
~ONLINE STUFF~

I was never very popular online, in all the communities I joined. I guess my introverted side carried through online. I used different handles, sometimes my real first name, sometimes random stuff. When I signed up for GameFAQs and went to the Seiken Densetsu 3 boards there, I decided to use the name of the heroine from my book, Mage Rosa Aquafire, since it was never used. Since then, Rosa has become another me, essentially.
The persona of Rosa was getting a little much for me to handle. She was a quite, demure little thing with a penchant for cookies and a deep desire not to offend anyone. However, the cookie quirk made me popular though, and I found how fun online life can be.
Rosa changed a bit on my second community, she was still conservative, naive, and easily offended, but she was tougher. I left that community a bit ago becase of interest conflicts and settled in with some great folks at the Gravity boards, whence came naother stage of Rosa.
Although I still am with Gravity, I have changed somewhat yet again since I`ve gone to the Fire Emblem Sanctuary of Srategy (aka FESS), where I`ve taken on a sillier, more playful tone, but feel the need to be even MORE contrary than I used to be =p
Essentially, Rosa Aquafire lies somewhere between cute, squeeing, intelligent fangirl, annoying bitch who thinks that she knows everything and LOVES to create wank, naive weirdo who is easily offended, and pervy boy lover with a reputation for crudeness.
She`s a wierd girl. She also spells the word "hot" (in reference to appearance) as HOTT. Don`t ask, just do it.
~FANDOM STUFF~
I`m kind of stuck in between Gravitation and Fire Emblem in general in regards to fandom. I could also see myself getting into the Full Metal Alchemist fandom, it`s reported to be a pleasant, if extremely wanky place. I`m not unknown to read/write/draw in more than one fandom, but for the most part, I tend to stay within those two. I`ve been more involved with Fire Emblem than Graviation lately, however. Pretty much all that holds me to Gravi is Gravity and the RPG I play in.
I`m a canon freak to the highest degree, there is NOTHING I hate more than canon rape, it gets royally on my nerves. Anyone can attest to that. Other things that annoy me are character bashing and random shipping.
