Arnie and his army were out of China and already starting in on
defusing the Pakistani-Indi border region. All the demonstrations
around the world were picking up excitement from the rumors about
the big three leaders' agreement, the rejoicing growing like a rockslide.
The billionaires' club was meeting again to work out some of the
details for the WPG and countries. There were plenty of heros and
heroines to go around. Many plenty.
Jessica called home again. The folks were still a little crazy over
their girl's accomplishments - and naked act - in China, but just hoped
to see her soon, and she told them "right after Paris".
"They're taking us pretty well, Hotey," she told Kit after hanging
up.
        "O, I bet," he answered.
They called everyone else and told the "kids" in D.C. the big
news, and they were in real joy. Just real true ineffable joy.
Back in the Lear, they putered in a flight plan to Istanbul and got
onto buying another plane to haul stuff into Chechnya. They flew to
that mystical East-West city within a few hours, got a hotel room for
Genavieve and Will and another for them and kicked back, getting
room service, getting naked and even getting some sleep.
By the time they woke, the announcement was all over the news
and almost six billion people were celebrating together everywhere.
Plenty awe inspiring, for sure, if you recall. The whole world united.
Of course, a few countries were still fighting it, well, their "leaders"
were. The ones everyone had pretty much expected. The guys got up
to speed on details from Kimmy, and there was nothing more for
them to do, it sure seemed, and the WPO, the Execs and other WPG
members all congratulated each other over cyberspace.
Pute then told them that they had bought an old 707 for a couple
of million - an excellent deal - and that Buz and Savvy were in from
Odessa. So they called their good pards and agreed on a big dinner
party at the hotel. And there were no suits on their trail or any such
trouble, Pute reported.
Jess remarked, "this is pretty unbelievable, Cody....Hey, how're
you feelin', by the way?" smiling close into his face, needing a shave,
as the three of them laid naked in bed, listening to the concerts and
speeches on the TV.
"O, I'm doin' all right, my young world figure," Kit smiled back.
"More important...how're your eyes?"
"They seem OK....I can see you guys all right, anyway. But no,
uh, spirits...." and they all thought about LE and Swan for a few
moments. "...An' how you doin', super cowgirl?" she turned toward
Flee. "Bet you could go for some Juli or BR about now, huh?" and
kissed her friend's bare nipples.
"Well, thank you, Miz Godiva....I was thinkin' more like both."
"Yes indeedy, there she is, Hotey..." Jess chuckled, "so...call
them and tell them to meet us in Paris on Thursday!"
Flece thought about one second, then made the first call to
Washington, talked to Juli a good long time, then everybody else said
hi and the kids told them that they were going to tour Europe before
Thursday. Then she called BR, back in Santa, and the three of them
had more sex over the phone, well, the four of them, and BR would
most definitely see Flee in Pari, the guys making hotel reservations via
computers as they spoke.
"Woo!" Jess cheered for Flece when they hung up.
The reunion with Buz and Savanna was roudy as hell. They
made a spectacle of themselves in the dining room late into the eve.
Buz was making all kinds of references to Jessy's nude China footage,
too, wanting to see the "ray-all thang," he kidded.
Before dawn, though, our three were taking the loaded 707 with
Will and Keri - their new crew members who had come with the plane
- and Buz, Savvy and Gena were flying the 727 into Grozny.
Chechnya was still in full-blown bloody civil war. The airport
was safe, but they were all wearing body armor just in case. Kit had
tried to keep the girls in the hotel, but that had been another fruitless
argument. There was plenty enough danger and hell there in Grozny,
though, to keep them all sober-minded.
They made it in all right and met Buz and Sav's friends taking
care of the unloading and all, and caught a ride into town to find a
mission and orphanage, donating a million to each. Then they were
back in the air with refugees. Their passengers treated them as
saviors as they disembarked in Odessa, where the guys gave another
couple million to the missions there. They felt good again. And,
dammit, they looked good, well, except for Kit in his sling and days-
old beard.
They made two runs that next day, despite the epic party raged
through the night back at the hotel and their breaking into the Ecstasy
stash, Jess relating more of the China story for the others amongst it
all. And they were doing a good amount toward ending the Chechnyan
conflict, at least the suffering; and the WPF was there in force, using
forces from some already-signed countries by then. The guys still
commed with the Execs, just to make sure everything was progressing
all right and, by heck, it was. And Jess just kept telling Code, "this is
farking unbelievable...."
She was asked to give more concerts, her notoriety by then too
hard to hide, and she was growing fast, Felecia just as fast. And Kit
was healing up. They were learning folk music from that part of the
world, and getting darn popular with all the local folks, performing in
the hotel bar and in Odessa, and generally feeling really dam good and
useful, the girls dreaming away, at times, about where all of it was
leading them.
They were always on line to all their "family" around the world.
And that $25 million of Gold got picked up from Truchas, and the
vein was still growing. Jess was offered music contracts, and turned
them all down - they would do their own label, they had decided.
North Air was expanding further into Russia and China, and was just
about ready to go public. Rockhead Village was famous, both in and
out of aviation, and was going to stay privately owned. Ginny and
Craig had bought a big farm, Jess having gotten them to accept
another two million. Flee had given her folks $3M. And Kit had put a
million into a family fund for his (they already had money). The guys
sent more payments to their missions, the WPG, their bank for all the
loans, then more to Save The Children, Feed The Children, Change
The Children and Stop HAVING So Many Children.
Hua was doing fine and Jasmine, Sage and Hon Ni were busily
working out of his office. Bill and Boris were still in control, though
something about a Monica was in the news. The Execs and all their
WPG "frenz and naybers" were super duper. And the people all over
Mother Earth were happily anticipating the glorious event in Paris. It
was all mirific. And it was more than mirific, but how many words
can be invented before no one knows what anyone is talking about
anymore? It was going to be SO glorious that our guys were in a
daze, almost. But they were working hard at keeping their minds in
check. Jessy was happier than she had ever been in her entire life
and, after all, that is all that mattered to Cody. Flece was real happy,
but missing her guy, not even knowing for sure who he was. And
the guys felt for her.
Jessica, though, holy bejeebers, was blossoming into her fully
unbelievably amazing womanhood, on a level that just stunned every
living mortal human with the good fortune to encounter her. And Flee,
well, the Fleesh is right up there with her. Lord, what a woman in her
own woman's rights. But old Kit, now, was running into resentment
from a lot of men, for some dang reason. Even from those Arabs.
Do go figure. Arabs have harems. Kit just had two.
Anyway, the guys were awash in megagigabucks from the
market, heavily invested in all the right stuff, the billionaires and their
followers buying into the pipe and space companies, plus the high
tech stuff. And BR took North Air public on Wednesday: one quarter
billion. Bucks! The story was good, so the IPO sales were strong,
taking evaluation to $364M by the end of the day, the market being
a little conservative with them, which is good for an airline. O the
munny. Fark n' dang, they were rico.
Yip, verily, they were muy rico. And the kaboodle felt especially
redemptive to Kit, who shared stories of his previous little lost fortunes
or other misadventures in his ole life - four, five or six of them he
related  - which was all pretty surprising to the girls. Anyway, our three
were still spreading the goods around wherever they saw or felt need.
And there was a lot of world to go, Jess mentioning that they had not
even set foot one upon Africa.
They were on the phones a lot to the party at Denali that night,
and really missed being there in the Polar B'ar. They had a grand old
party of their own there in Istanbul, though, and gave Gena, Will, Buz,
Savvy and Keri a bunch of shares in their new company for them to
sign on, which they did, giving them all more to celebrate. Like they
needed it.
Travolta, Yakoff Smirnoff and Bernadette Peters, among others,
had tripped into Grozny for the WPG. Yeay, the pantheon, the
veritable cavalcade of stars were going everywhere around the world
to help the WPG transition. Martin, Williams, Cline, Cline, Prine, the
Wayans, Murphy, Pryor, Cosby, Leno, Letterman and you name
them. The funny guys, Hollywood and Dollywood were everywhere.
Sports guys. Music guys. Art guys. Beautiful girls golorica. Starting to
make the world that the world had awaited. A happier, saner, safer,
smarter world. It really WAS epiphanal and parousial! And the leaders
were all getting aranged into ole Pari, along with all the rest. It was
really going to happen!
