JFK Junior
- John Kennedy Jr. - made an appearance on stage at
Monument and said some great words in support of the
WPG. Then
Marc Cohn did "Walkin' In Memphis" to start the music
back off,
followed by Buffet leading the old folk rockers back
on, building for
sunset again, just like Margaritaville at the pier. Eddie
Murphy,
Jonathan Winters and Joan Rivers joined the MC ranks.
All those crazy
nuts were there. It was like a telethon. All they were
missing was Eddy
McMahon. Even Dick Clark came on to introduce Otis Redding
and
Wilson Pickett. And it was all still going satellite
all around the planet,
and still on MTV, still pressured to censor the WPG stuff.
Yeah, right.
Jerry Lee did "Great Balls". Then there was a brief ceremonial
right
before sundown for Elvis, Jimmy and all the rest of the
missing in
action, Roberta Flack singing a spiritual with Aretha,
Tina, Whitney
and the girls. Woo! Stood those hairs straight up, didn't
it?
Our two leaders
listened to it all as they worked away with Puter
on the bed. Then they heard the dogs barking outside
and rushed out,
Kit grabbing his shotgun on the way, meeting Jul and
Juli out in the
yard with double barrels each, and they followed the
dogs out through
the trees to the fence line and saw Waldo, Peppers and
the rest
chasing some guys down the hill and whistled the pooches
back after
some moments of enjoying that scene.
"They ran
like agents," Kit told Jess when they got back to the
cabins, and talked with the guys a few minutes out in
the yard, Jul
assuring them that they would get Wallo's team on it
and expand the
perimeter, and fed and praised the dogs when they came
back after
sniffing and peeing all around.
Back in D.C.,
back in his office, DC got the word from his
agents that they had been chased off the mountain by
dogs and had
not been able to learn anything. He ordered them back
up as close as
they could get when it got dark. They needed information.
He wanted
information dammit. DC was taking things into his own
hands, with
Cincy. And he had come across the analysis of the Trinity
tracks. So
they knew it was the guys, Cincy already concurred on
it.
Our "carnals"
started the charcoal out on the barby, then the
WPO went back in to Pute and Cyby. Jess and Flee started
checking
the internet and WPG website, packed with e-mail and
such about the
holograms and WPG and O, offering support and ideas.
Annie Lennox
was singing at the concert along with everybody.
"Man, they're
just giving all kinds of ideas on who the WPG is,"
Jessy yelled into Kit, who was, uh, draining the liz
in the bathroom.
"Here's a whole group saying it's 'extratouristerals',"
she laughed, then
added, "and here're some who think it's all a hoax, like
the 'govermint'
says...."
Kit yelled
back, "send them, 'yay, through the valley may they
walk without weeping'...or how the heck does that go?"
"Fuggedabouddit,
brother," she yelled back, but sent that in.
Kit came back
out, joining them on the bed, and they sent a
message to Sundance, asking the Xecs to start the WPG
fund, and to
put it in the care of the concert leaders. After the
com with R, Kit and
Putey took them through their finances, showing the Triumph
partners
their bottom line, which was, naturally, spectacular;
and the girls
concurred that they could send $25 million to the fund
when it came
into being. Anonymously, obviously. And that was a real
stoker.
They read
the Corpus message once more and Jess felt that it
needed more "juice". So she started brainstorming.
"This is about
our LIVES...our passion...our wisdom..." getting
up and pacing around the bedroom.
"Right ON,
cowgirl!" Flece encouraged.
"YES, Jess!"
Kit concurred.
"...Our judgement...our
LOVE...our
desire...." Jessy took a swig
of her Frog and looked at Kit. "...It's about our courage...and
about
what's RIGHT!...and good sense....Gosh, Hote,
what should we say?"
"Well, hay,
bella...you're
doin' fine. All I was thinkin' was
remindin' 'm to sign and...ask for their money...and
demonstrate on the
Fourth...and maybe tell 'm the signatures are for the
law suit and...I
guess that's pretty much all I had...whatta you think,
Flee?"
"Si,
pards...you vamos!..." Felecia confirmed.
"Yeah..."
Jess came back in, "and it'll be fought...there'll be those
fighting us...so everybody has to be ready for that...."
"Aw babies..."
Kit grimaced.
"Right on,
Jess..." Flee backed it up.
The Chiefs
came back on at the concert, they noticed, to anounce
that the fund had gone to three quarters of one billion
dollars and that
the concert would continue indefinitely - though probably
until it got too
cold - and the over two million folks then in the Valley
cheered,
screamed, yelled and roared thier approval. The concert
leaders were
also already organizing the demonstrations for Washington
and the other
capitols for July 4th. And people were still straggling
into Monument.
People all
over the world were starting to sign the Declaration on
the internet WPG website. "Three billion needed for majority"
was one
of the slogans already. And, actually, it was somewhere
around two
billion for a majority of adults. How many millions signed
was being
posted like Big Macs sold. One point two million, it
was, by then.
The Execs
were hiring - anonymously over the internet - the law
team to handle the money and legal work, both the offense
of their
suits to be filed in all the world's high courts and
the defense against
actions from governments. BR was one of those asked,
and happily
accepted, honored again. A business team was also hired
to get the
computers out to the world.
Well, the
WPO finished hammering out the message, entered it
into Cy and Pute to reprogram the holojectors via modem,
and
commed Sundance to give him the new text, which he loved,
then they
asked him to notify the Corpus press. And the skycams
would be out
to Mustang in minutes.
They gave
button honors to Felecia as they walked outside and,
in the faint light from their kitchen, Kit pointed in
the general direction
for her to point the 'mitter and said, Flece standing
between them,
"let's give them a couple minutes more."
They had turned
the radio up and were listening to Soundgarten
or whomever with everyone else at the concert through
the open door.
And they were just going to listen to the reaction
from the millions. So
they hugged and kissed each other for good luck as they
waited and
listened and watched the full moon rise. And the stage
was packed with
the performers doing the concert song.
When the song
ended, the guys held Flee as she pressed the
button, and in seconds they were hearing the performers
announcing
their hologram friends were ba-ack and,
in seconds more, were being
shown on the big screens there. And the Valley roared.
Kit and Jess
instructed Flece to press the button again when the roar
subsided, and
she did and in moments they heard "Joan" over the radio:
"Hola,
everyone...it's begun!....You can change life as it is on
Earth....You have the power in your signatures to give
your Peace
Government legal standing..." she boomed out from the
Gulf of
Mexico. "...And your contributions will give it life...and
your efforts
at the fourth of July demonstrations around the world
will give it
strength....So follow your hearts, friends....This
is the time....NOW
is the time to change history....Give it everything you
have!....You
can make a world without war...and you can
make your governments
spend that money on PEOPLE and GOOD instead of dominance,
destruction, waste and hell....YOU
are the power to do that!...Do it
for those you love. Do it for your children.
Do it for yourselves. Sign,
give and show your wisdom...your passion...and
your COURAGE!
You can WIN! The SPIRITS all are with you!..."
Then "Alex"
joined her to add, "Vaya con Dios".
And they looked
great sticking way up there in the sky. Sexy too.
Especially "Joany". Her nipples were showing up under
her T. Woo!
Though, yeah, you could see "Al's", um, bulzjh. And our
giants held
each other around their waists, up there and out there
in the wind,
waving until they shut off.
