High Voltage- Part 2

So I gave her the edited version of what I can remember of my past. Basically, I have no family and was living on the streets until my powers manifested, then I sought her out and here I am. I didn�t tell her about Geoff.
�So what is your power?� Moira asked.
�Erm. I can control elecricity, I think... Well, I can�t actually control it right now, but with practise... I�m not quite sure, though.� I replied around a mouthful of... something. I couldn�t tell what it was, but it was tasty.
Moira nodded. �If you dont mind, I�d like to do a few tests tomorrow, nothing bad I promise, just to see what you powers really are.�
Tests. Figures. Well, she is a scientist. And I suppose I asked for it, coming here. I shrugged. �I suppose I don�t mind.� A lie. But it wasn�t like she was going to hurt me.
So the next morning and for much of the day, Moira had me doing various things in a special lab. After she and her assistants analyzed the results, she told me that she knew someone who would better be able to understand the test results, and that he might be able to help me learn to contrl this �talent.� What that is she didn�t say. I don�t think she really knew, which is why I�m going to New York: to meet a Dr. McCoy and a Professor Xavier. Or rather, some of their colleagues will be flying over in a provate jet, and they will take me to New York.
