Jean is a telepath and a telekinetic, and Ororo, also known as Srotm, can control hte weather. As I understand it, Ororo is to be one if my instructors, SheÕs going to be working with me on controlling electricity. I think Professor Xavier and Dr. McCoy are going to see about controlling my Òelectrical discharge.Ó Hhmph. WeÕll see what they can do.
After a looong, boring flight across the Atlantic Ocean, we landed in Westchester, New York, inside a high-tech hangar beneath the basketball court behind an innocent-looking old mansion. Naturally.

The place is a school for mutants, and the students range in age from 11- and 12-year-olds to adults, who were Mostly there to learn how to control their various Òtalents.Ó MoiraÕs tests show that I have an Òabnormally highÓ I.Q. and apparantly I am not to be attending classes with others of my age, which se estimated to be 17. Instead, Ororo said I would be working as a Òlearning assistantÓ to Dr. Henry McCoy. It sounds more like heÕll be tutoring me or something,though. For now, theyÕre ushering me off to this Xavier.
