| This trip began with the flight to Los Angelese where we rented a car and proceeded to look for the gay hotel where I had pre-booked a room. It turned out to be in the seediest part of Hollywood and had the atmosphere of a gay brothel. It certainly wasn't what we expected, however we decided to stick it out as we were only booked for 3 nights. At least it was interesting to say the least. (grin) We had not even started to unpack our bags when we got a call from the cute guy who booked us in, asking if he could come to our room for a threesome. We politely refused as it is not our thing, but we must say we were flattered to be asked. (wider grin) |

| Of course, we did all the tourist things such as those pictured above as well as Universal Studios, Gromans Chinese Theater, The movie stars homes in Beverley Hills, The Farmers Market etc. etc. |
| My sister June and her new husband Gordie, were spending the winter in Mesa Arizona at the time. They were going to Lochlin Nevada for a few days at the casino, so we drove through the desert to meet them there, We had a great time. We stayed at the Colorado Belle Resort for the night then drove down to Palm Springs California. |

| Ron and I had booked a week in a gay resort called The Villa. It was a beautiful resort and we both completely fell in love with Palm Springs. We would love to have retired there, but the cost would be out of our league. The Villa was a private well landscaped compound with seperate duplex cottages as well as laege pool, bar and restaurant on the premises. It was also just a short drive to many wonderful gay bars and restaurants that abound in the city. |
