This was to be our last major trip before our retirement. The first leg of the trip was Las Vegas where I had arranged accomodations in a Gay Bed & Breakfast just outside the main strip instead of one of the major hotels. It was owned by a wonderful Swedish gentleman by the name of Ollie. It turned out that he used to be Liberace's Chef and he really gave us a royal welcome and was responsible for the best vacation we had ever had in Las Vegas.
Ollie arranged for a friend of his to take us in his single prop plane to see The Grande Canyon, Hoover Dam and take a flight down the casino strip. Unfortunately these pictures do not do them justice but they will give you an idea what a marvelous event it really was.
