Mom and Dad's 60th Wedding Anniversary SEPT. 1985

On Sept 26th,1985 I rented a hall and held a 60th Anniversary banquet and dance for Mom & Dad.
It really was a wonderful get together, with some attending whom Mom and Dad hadn't seen in 20 -30 years. There were about 110 friends and relatives present. The highlight of the evening was the reading of messages from Queen Elizabeth , the Cdn Prime Minister, as well as other premiers. I had also managed to get messages from the Mayors of every town and city where they had ever lived including Washington DC where Mom lived as a teenager, and Melborne Florida where they had spent several winters after retiring.

Both my son Tommy and I were avid fishermen and use to spend many hours together on our lake in my new 18' bass boat fishing for bass, walleye and muskie

CRYSTAL BEACH HALLOWEEN MASQUERADE OCT 1985

Yes! Another Halloween and anothetr drag attempt.
This time Ron and I drove down to Crystal Beach which is on Lake Erie just accross from Buffalo N.Y. We went with Don (my ex) and his new lover Bill. We had a marvelous time. but no-one told us that it would be outside. The temperature went down to 31 degrees that night. I was dressed as Mae West and Ron as Bette Davis. Needless to say, we damned near froze to death.
