| On May 23, 2001, our local Gay and Lesbian Group, The Rainbow Service Org., held their Annual General Meeting. I was honoured to be nominated and voted in as Treasurer of the organization. I was also quite flattered that an 'old man' like me could be thought of enough to be part of the Executive Board. I am still on the News Letter Committee and also in charge of Membership. It all keeps me busy, but I enjoy it. |

| The Bride and Groom |
| Ron and I attended the wedding of my GrandDaughter, Cathy and her husband, Shawn. It was a beautiful wedding. The actual ceremony was held outside in a small dale in front of a grove of tall trees. Unfortunately, during the ceremony a huge electrical storm was bearing down on us. It was a little un-nerving as there were about 100 of us sitting in this open field on metal chairs when the thunder and lightning began. However, all went well and the rain held off until the ceremony was over and we had all moved safely into the lodge. |
