| HOLLY 1994 - 2003 |
| Ron and I are sad to report that our beautiful Holly died in August 2003 after a sudden attack of pancreatis, causing a complete breakdown of her kidneys and liver. Needlessto say, we are devistated and will forever miss her un-conditional love and affection. We still look for her running to greet us when we enter the house. It will be especially hard driving to Florida this winter without her sleeping behind our seats - only waking up to lick the back of my neck to tell me it was time to stop for a pee. She was a much beloved member of our family and will be greatly missed and never replaced in our hearts. |
| Actually, Holly's death really hit both of us pretty hard. We had decided that there would not be another dog to take her place, so we felt we had to plan something to lessen our grief. After a great deal of discussion, we finally decided to go on a one week trip to San Jose, Costa Rica. I set up the whole trip on the computer and arranged for a week stay at 'Colours Hotel and Resort' beginning 17 Nov 2003. It was an all gay establishment right in San Jose. Actually the building had originally been owned by Sharon Stone when she was married to a Cost Rican. You will find pictures etc in the Trips section, |
