The 56 bus route from West Coker and the Saturday Safeway service has recently been cancelled without notice due, we are given to understand, the traffic conditions in East Street.  The parked cars make it at times impossible for the bus to get through and we are told the driver is not allowed to reverse with passengers on board.
The matter has been discussed

at the Parish Council  who have already been in touch with the bus company, and it is hoped there could be some action to ease this situation.  Ideas would be welcome.
