The 8th November saw Anne and Chris Blight attending a reception held at the Palace of Westminster by invitation of The Woodland Trust. The reception was to commemorate 200 new woods planted for the Millennium with Anne and Chris representing Hatherstone Wood.

The host was Paddy Tipping MP
and an address was given by the Secretary of State, Chris Smith,
who said that the tree planting had certainly made good use of Millennium funds.
