... NEW LIFE ...

GATHONI IN FULL COLOUR

Imelda's replacement Gathoni is coming along just fine, just fine indeed! The sheer number of things Gathoni can do at the same time is nothing short of impressive! I can work, listen to fascinating genres and amounts of music, play violent games with a lot of wanton and seneless violence but lovely graphics and make use of the scanner all at the same time without a strain on the resources! There was a feller who wanted his backside scanned but both me and the scanner shrank from the idea. Of course now I have no excuse for not getting any work done but what the heck!

... MOVIE MAGIC ...

Yesterday I went to the movies and quite shamelessly watched Cats And Dogs. I found it quite entertaining. Hilarious, is the appropriate word. Tomorrow I shall descend to the same establishment and take in Harry Potter And The Philospher's Stone. A week ago I took in American Pie 2 (I must say I shall never look at a tube of super glue in quite the same way! ). A week before that I watched something else but I can't quite remember what the hey it was -- only that I laughed so hard I was smacked in the head by both my companion and a beefy girl on my left. I think I am slowly and surely getting myself addicted to the big screen. But then again there are far worse addictions

... ON ANOTHER NOTE ...

Looking Up

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR LAURA! The fact that the image alongside here was there yesterday is a result of sheer cunning and foresight! I of course realize that with another tick of the clock you look less and less as young as this youth here. What's that? Blow out the candles on your cake? HELL NO! I'll bet the sheer heat from all them candles will singe my eyebrows!

Anyway, many happy returns of the day girl! (Whatever 'many happy returns means I have yet to discover!')

... OF UPDATES ...

I have explained very nicely my lapses last week but people whose necks are equipped with ripe coconuts insist on cluttering my already cluttered mailbox with indignant mail demanding an explanation. If you know that you did not ask nicely what the matter was then please listen carefully because this is the last time that I am going to say this. Updates will be done:
When it strikes me to
When I am good and ready
When I feel like it
When I am so inclined
When Mars and Jupiter are in synch on the cosmological plane and the sprititual kinetic enery bubbles forth in a sine wave (In other words no particular reason!)

Which of these are some of us having trouble deciphering?

... THE FESTIVE SEASON ...

There is something indeed quite spooky about the festive season. SOmething about the yuletide spirit brings out quite a bit of emotion in sons and daughters of God. It is only during Christmas that:
For some reason people think they are blessed with melody and proceed to terrorize all and sundry with strong young voices.
Gifts that were received last year and that were rejected as being either unsuitabe or downright ridiculous are repakced and given to unsuspecting victims with very warm and broad smiles.
Santa Claus can be seen to be wearing anything from knee high boots to bata bullets, to sandals and to slippers and many a time the footwear clashes spectacularly with the red tunic and the knee high trousers.
Santa can also be seen to be taking healthy swigs out of a bottle wrapped in brown paper. The spirit which this gent is partaking is unlikely to be the Christmas Spirit.

Gathoni: One word. Magic
Wanja: Smile!
Geff: Long time no see!
O.B: Still a garden gnome as always!

... ACKNOWLEDGMENTS ...
I would like to thank Me for all the support I have given myself. I am one of a kind and I admire the time I have taken to do this when I could be doing other more interesting things like shelling peas.
Let us not forget Myself for the valuable contribution as well , of course, as I who is indispensable to this project!
There will also be some people who will want to be thanked effusively despite the fact that they have contributed nothing whatsoever. But I will thank them anyway when I can remember their names and when they are actually looking over my shoulder and I have no choice but to thank them for nothing!
