Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio.
Another live album from Iron Maiden, its out now, and franklly could be better.
The sound quality isn't that great on the album, you can hardly hear Steve's bass!
Also, its strange, even at the start of the show, Bruce seems to sound out of breath. The set list they chose for this tour isn't particularly interesting, and considering it goes on for 18 songs, we found it hard to listen to the whole album in one hit!

Izzy Stradlin - River
From the ex - Guns n' Roses guitarist, Izzy Stradlin, comes a new album of Heavy metal/country/reggae. One of the songs in particular has a kind of Hendrix feel to it (Jump in Now) which has a mind numbing solo, which again, sounds rather like the solo for 'Are you Experienced' This album has a strange way of appealing to all tastes, with its mix of styles and it is definate essential listenning to all!

Sex Pistols - Never mind the bollocks here's the sex pistols
I know I know, why am I reviewing this so, so long after it's release, well, because I wanna. To me the Pistols are great and still remain the most influential punk band of all time. This album really shows off the punk attitude that says "fuck off!" with tracks like 'God save the Queen' and 'Anarchy in the U.K'.
The album still remains,  one of the greatest ever made!
