SYNOPSIS:

If there�s anything Mink knows, it�s gratuitous smut, and this here fic is chock full of it. In fact, I call Ryo Love the original friction fan fiction because of that last excerpt.
Another thing I want to highlight about this fic is the characterisations. Mink took her time to lay out and develop Ryo�s caring nature, which is in extreme contrast with the Warrior of Light�s dark nature. I think it�s done well. The reading goes something like this: Ryo�s concerned for Seiji, Ryo�s caring for Seiji, Ryo�s tending to Seiji, Ryo�s looking after Seiji, Ryo�s being nice to Seiji, Seiji�s claiming Ryo�s soul, the end. |
MAKO:
| Ryo Love is a perfect example of smut for smut's sake! Loads of lemony goodness for the citrus deprived. Mink writes very well, she develops the story line, portrays her characters perfectly, and adds loads and loads of gratuitous smut. What more could a reader ask for. |
MISH:
| The only beef I do have about this fic, and I really had to scrap the bottom of the complaint jar for this one, is the disclaimer/introduction thing. I realise it has pretty much become an art of its own to write those things (if it�s even the author�s own writing, and not someone else�s quote), but I came to read the story, not a page and a half of introduction that�s only peripherally related to the story. This is a nitpick to all fics I come across, and not just Mink�s, but I really don�t think the story loses anything if the intros are taken out. So, if it�s left there, for the sake of wasted paper print-outs, I hope it adds to the story. |

| Well having written fics myself, and getting flamed for one (which I don't understand, because the bloke chose to flame the lesser of two evils), a well written warning does come in handy. I used to skip them at first, then they got creative! Mink is no exception. I look at it as a warm-up exercise for her stories which are just fantastic! |

| I'm not sure about the warm up thing, but I'll give you a little leeway about the warning. There may be a few people who go to read a story and not know there's boy sex in it. So, we're telling you now... Ryo Love has boy sex. Now go read it. |
