SYNOPSIS:
| Rowen longs for Sage, but Sage has his mind rather occupied� Or does he? A rather long fic, but definitely worth the read. |
MAKO:
| We chose this one because it is a rather long fic, something the pair of us like. And secondly, I chose it because it has to be one of my all time fav yaoi fics I've ever read. |

| It's written from Rowen's perspective, and Lady Glen does this extremely well. |
MISH:
| I agree... for the most part. It�s not all in Rowen�s perspective. It occasionally switches to the author�s, and even to Sage�s at one point. And since it�s written in the characters� POVs, most of the story is in italics, which is very grating on the eyes after a long period of time. |
MAKO:
| I only have one, albeit small, hang-up with this fic, and that's the character of Mika. At first I thought it was a Mary Sue type deal, but I was pleasantly surprised by how Lady Glen treats her. Let's just say there is some pain, and a lot of humiliation. |

A lot, indeed. I thought Lady Glen spent TOO much time humiliating her. I know Mika was intended to be despised by the readers, but that was accomplished as soon as Sage walked off with her. Lady Glen gets us to hate her even more by Mika�s continued presence in the story. It�s possible to have too much of a good thing, too much of a mediocre thing, and, diabolically, way too much of a bad thing. Mika was a very bad thing.
excerpt: Well, we�ve already done the chair bit and the donkey game, so how bad could this possibly be? Good thing everyone has drank just enough to go along with this. Might as well get comfortable, but not on the couch next to Sage and his second skin. Next to Ryo and Mia on the floor is safe. If I tried to sit near Sage, I�d do something rash. Yeah, like strangle Mika. Fingers around her throat� Slowly press in� "Rowen, why are you grinning like an idiot?" "Huh? Oh. Um, no reason, Mia." |

The story,
being as long as it is,
does not fall into the trap of repeating things.
Also, Lady Glen keeps the
pace of things running smoothly, even through such a
long fic, beautifully.
excerpt: "Rowen, come out of there again. Please?" Nopenopenopenope! Don�t care if he thinks I�m hiding. Think I�ve been humiliated enough for one night. Staying right where I am. Maybe it�s possible to will one�s self dead. "Rowen, it�s all right. They�re nice underwear." Nice? On the other hand, maybe it�s possible to will him dead! |

| �and I'm the artistic director...Let's talk art! Lady Glen's eye for detail is amazing; she gives the reader the picture that she want's them to see, simple as that. From my hentai POV, well let's just say that every time I read this, and I read it a LOT, I am NEVER disappointed! The shag scene is one of the best I've ever read, and I'm picky about shag scenes. |

| Again, I agree. It has to be one of the best written shag scenes I�ve read thus far, and I�m not the hentai that Mako is. |

| Because she couldn�t find an excerpt without quoting the whole fic. |

| You should apply for a discount on your water bill, like frequent bather miles, or something. |

| I�ll give the beginning a 6, and everything after Mika leaves an 8. It was a good story with bits of humour; my favourite line was "You heard me, do the teapot thing." (I�ll let you figure that one out!) �But I didn�t really like the jumping of POVs. And I hated Mika. |

9 out of 10. Even though I love this fic, Mika
grates on me
something fierce.
