SYNOPSIS:

| *sigh* Here we go again, yet another long-ass disclaimer keeping me from my smut. This time, it lasted nearly a full page. BUT, the story lasts for over 20 pages; so, given ratios and whatnot� eh, it�s not so bad. And what a story is was. Every paragraph I read was another surprise, be it good or bad. |

| I first read this fic quite a while back and it STILL gets the blood racing through the veins. Cold showers are a prerequisite to read this piece....of ass! |

Darkflame is very picky about what she posts on her
page, you can tell that
from her submissions guidelines. That aside,
Bonnejeanne and her writing
partner Vonecia, (aka Bonne and Von) are two of
Darkflame's favorite Gundam
yaoi writers. Mine too cum to think of it.
excerpt: Quatre dropped the letter from nerveless fingers and walked blindly to the big window at the back of his office. He stared out, unseeing, as water flowed from his eyes and down his cheeks. At last, he dropped to his knees and buried his face in his hands, sobbing brokenly. |

| I know I mention the flow of a story a lot in these reviews, but good flow is something I really appreciate as a reader. Despite the 20-page-length of this story, I was able to read it in one shot because I had no writing hiccups slowing me down. |
MAKO:
| Bonnejeanne is flawless in her writing style, and she easily keeps the story flowing without any hiccups. I have a hard time reading fics that jar the reader about; this is definitely not one of those fics. |
MISH:
| The second surprise was Quatre�s character. I realise that in the long-ass disclaimer, bonnejeanne excuses herself from writing out of character characters. Still, though, I was almost shocked by the deviousness that our sweet little Quatre displays. |

I am a little more clued into what makes the boy think
the way he does in
this fic. Quatre is Arabic, and I recall reading
somewhere a while ago
about a custom that the Arabians have/had regarding
male/male relationships
like the one described in this fic.
excerpt: Quatre smiled and the compassion in his sensitive face forced tears to the back of Catherine's eyes. "He will always be your Trowa, Catherine," he said softly. "But he will be mine first... and always." |
MISH:
| This is only a matter of my personal opinion, but I found the foreplay quite disturbing, especially coming from dear sweet Quatre. |
MAKO:
| I had to go take an ice-cold shower break when I finished that part....the first of many ;) |
MISH:
| The third surprise I found in the story was Trowa�s psyche. I can believe he would be seriously distraught, and we know from the show that he has suicidal tendencies, so that goes along great with the first half of the fic. However, I don�t think the problem could have been solved in one week of steamy hot pilot shag. |

| Probably not, but it sure makes for a delicious sex fic, which is exactly what this fic is: pure unadulterated smut! If you are looking for extremely well written pilot shag, I HIGHLY recommend you look into Bonne and Von's extensive library of fiction. They have written some of the juiciest stories I have ever read, regarding our favorite pilots. |

| The last great surprise, and I couldn�t let this go unmentioned, was the reference to camels. =) It was brief, but yes, I caught it, and it really made the story that much better for me. |

| Mish and her camels. It's a long and involved story, folks; but trust me, the girl has a passion for critters that spit. =p~~~ I myself prefer more preditory animals. >=) "By crikey! Isn't he a little BEAUTY?" |

| 7/10. This fic�s great for the pilot shag, but bring along more willing suspension of disbelief than usual. |

8.5 out of 10. I have read all of the fics that Bonne
has written either
alone or with Von, and even though this is a very hot,
steamy, dripping good
shag fic...She has done a LOT better. Go check out
'ESO' if you don't
believe me! =)~~
